Sophia's POV
I spun around.
The boat swung hard.
I hadn't registered that someone was already inside the cabin. The shock, the motion, the fact that my feet were bare on a rocking surface — all of it conspired against me at once and I felt my balance go.

"Sophia!" Aurora screamed.
A strong arm caught me around the waist and pulled, and I went from falling toward the water to pressed flat against a very solid chest. The world tilted and steadied.
His voice was low against my ear. "Sophia. We meet again."
Of all the places in all of this estate, I had managed to find Damian's boat.
"Sophia, it's him — his Alpha presence —" Aurora sounded both thrilled and alarmed.
