Episode One — The Crimson Moon Rises
The kingdom had never known silence like this.
Elara stood on the balcony of the eastern tower, her silver gown shimmering under the blood-red glow of the moon. The air was heavy, thick with dread, as if the entire castle held its breath. The prophecy whispered in her mind like a curse: When the moon bleeds, the crown will fall.
Below, the courtyard stirred with unease. Guards shifted their spears, servants whispered prayers, and the old priest clutched his talisman so tightly his knuckles turned white. But none of them dared to move closer to the gates.
Because the gates had opened.
A wolf — massive, black as midnight — stepped into the courtyard. Its fur bristled like shadows come alive, and its golden eyes burned with a light that was not of this world. It did not snarl, did not bow its head, but stood tall, unyielding, as if it had come not to beg entry but to claim it.
“Elara,” her maid whispered behind her, voice trembling. “Prince Kael will arrive soon. You must prepare.”
But Elara’s heart was no longer in the palace. Bound by duty to marry a man she did not love, she felt the weight of the crown pressing heavier than ever. The crown was duty, sacrifice, silence. Yet in the wolf’s gaze, she saw something the crown had never given her: freedom.
The drums of war echoed faintly from the distant hills, carried on the wind like a warning. The kingdom was on the edge of chaos, and destiny waited in the shadows with teeth bared.
The wolf lifted its head, and for a moment, Elara swore it spoke — not in words, but in a call that resonated deep within her soul. A call to leave the safety of stone walls and step into the unknown.
Her maid tugged at her sleeve. “Please, my lady. The prince will not forgive lateness.”
But Elara did not move. Her choice was clear — obey the crown, or follow the beast into the forest where whispers promised danger… and salvation.
And as the crimson moon burned brighter, Elara knew the night would change everything.
