Amber's POV.
"What are you doing here?" Zeus asked the moment his eyes landed on my half-submerged body in the bathtub.
I had never been so embarrassed in my whole, entire life.
"Uhmmm..." My eyes quickly scanned the room; maybe I could find anything that would explain the sticky situation I had found myself in, but it was of no use.
"Cleaning!" I suddenly yelled out, "I am here to clean."
"Clean?" He raised a brow. "You're here to clean?"
"Yeah, I was about to scrub the bathtub when you walked in."
"Amber, you're in the bathtub, with your clothes." He had that skeptical look on his face. "Are you sure you're okay?"
"Yeah, I'm good." I said with a broad, fake smile that made my face ache. My clothes were already so wet that I was beginning to shiver due to the cold in the bathtub.
