I had to lay low for a couple of days; my purple cloak was found, but luckily for me, I didn't take the fall for it. However, that didn't change the fact that I still had a job to finish.
"Is Alpha Zeus inside? I would like to have a word with him.” I asked the guard positioned outside Zeus's room.
"He is with someone.” The guard responded stiffly. I nodded and walked away.
I lied about wanting to have a word with him. I just wanted to be certain that he was busy with something else or someone else so that I could focus on what I was about to do without any potential risk that he might sabotage it.
