Amber’s POV.
I watched him sleep all through the night, he had refused to let me go and ensured his guards didn’t allow anyone into his room so he slept soundly while I watched over him.
He stirred in his sleep and mumbled inaudibly. His eyelids fluttered open as he stretched his body out on the bed and wrapped me up in his arms.
“You know, the head maid would throw a fit once she realizes that I have been in here with you all through the night and haven’t done any chores.” I said to him as I chuckled softly and we rolled around on the bed in each other’s arms.
“I am the Alpha, I decide what happens around here so she can’t possibly do that to you.” He replied.
