Amber’s POV.
“What do you mean by that? I am the Alpha’s personal maid.” I didn’t want to sound upset so I asked that question with a really soft voice.
“Right! I know that, but wouldn’t it be nice for the both of us? At least you won’t have to come to the stables anytime you want to see me.” She sounded too excited for the questions I intended to ask her, so I just decided to drop it.
“Uhmmm…yeah! Sure! That’s really nice.” I plastered a fake smile across my face.
“How did you get promoted?” I asked, but she simply smiled and asked me to follow her to the stables so she could empty out her shelves and set up her space in the servant quarters.
I did the best I could to help Rose set up her space very close to mine in the servant quarters but I was still very curio
