Five weeks after Emeka arrived the village with his uncle, they received a call from the hospital where emeka's mother was been treated that she has given up the fight and has gone to the world beyond, it was with shock that emeka received the news about the demise of his beloved mother and life after the death of his parents wasn't the same for him anymore. Emeka's uncle was a palm wine tapper in the village with four kids and his wife, but his income wasn't enough to provide for the needs and wants of his own family and emeka's presence in the house meant more expenses for them, life was hell on earth for them. Two months after the death of his parents, the burial date was fixed, friends, family members and wells wishers graced the occasion. There was plenty to eat, drink and to God be the glory, the burial went as planned with little or no problem but life for emeka was never the same again, he was always alone but the death of his parents never stopped him from working hard, praying and believing in his dreams and aspirations of becoming a professional footballer one Day.
