it was a bright day in udoma kingdom .Ada was the only child of okafor her mother died on the day of her birth because she had a hard labor.her father took care of her . When Ada was 17year old she lost her father and began to live with her aunt.they always maltreat her .she will do the house cores.her aunt has one daughter named ufeoma.unfeoma is a very lazy girl she could not do anything for her self. It was a good day when the announced that all the maiden in udoma kingdom should gather together at the king's palace for their annual festival because it is time for the prince to get married. but Ada was not allowed to attend it. one day her aunt sent her to the palace in other to deliver something to her daughter.there the king and queen saw her and asked her why is not among the maiden she explained to them and they asked to join the group immediately. lot was tried to stop her but to buy no avail. The day of the event came all the maiden appeared and performed but when it got to Ada turn she performed excellently and was declared the winner and was announced as the next queen of udoma kingdom.
