Kojo entrapped

Kojo woke up due to a loud noise in the pitch black cave just before him, he backed up from the bars due to fear what was there and turned to the wall it must of been the tall man who visited the cage multiple times a day, but kojo realized it was someone different he could tell it was a different person somehow. “Who’s there?”, said Kojo. The person by the bars spoke, “I’m just someone who came to check on you.” The persons voice sounded feminine and soft. “What is your name?” Asked Kojo. “You do not need to know” the person responded. Over the next several weeks kojo and the new guard talked about the outside world how there was a sun and a moon the stars and even other people, he considered her to be someone who wouldn’t harm him, kojo noticed her to be much nicer than the tall man. One day the lady came to the cage again.” “Kojo get up we must go now” she said in a rushed voice. Kojo could tell that she was also a little scared. “Where are we going?” He responded. “To the outside”, she said. The lady lifted her hands to the bars and they melted away, Kojo walked forward and felt an instant rush of adrenaline, someone was coming. “Why are you helping me?”Kojo asked. “Because you don’t deserve to be in here.” She responded. Kojo was about to tear up, no one had ever shown a hint of compassion to him until now, he was grateful for how fate lead her to him, he wanted to see the sun with her, and wanted to meet other humans aswell. The girl lit a fire by her hand, and Kojo was surprised he had never seen anything so bright, it was a blue flame and it hurt his eyes, but he could finally see her face, she look older than him by a lot and was also much taller than him and was extremely pretty. when Kojo saw her he couldn’t help but cry, he had never seen a human face before he was wondering why she was doing so much for him. Kojo looked at his hands, they were dark and much darker than the girls. “What is your name?” He asked again. “Yuri” the girl responded in a whisper. She grabbed his hand and led him up the stairs, And at the top there was a tunnel that lead to the outside where there was light Shining through a door, Kojo couldn’t wait to see the outside world. He thought that he was going to finally be free, but he suddenly felt her get ripped away from his side, he turned around and the tall man was right behind them. “RUUN!” Screamed yuri, Kojo hesitated for a second but in the quick time before he turned around the tall man had beheaded yuri right in front of him, Kojo fell into tears while running “what is this why do I feel like this” he asked himself while running. Kojo made it to the door and took one last look at his old life the tall man had yuris head in his hand and said “what a naughty servant I thought I told you not to help that thing”in a raspy voice that would sounds like nails on chalk and immediately chased down Kojo. Kojo opened the door and ran through, it, the sunlight hit his face and he was instantly blinded, he could smell fresh air and could look around and see perfectly, he stood there stunned, and the tall man for some reason just stood at the door watching as he looked scared of the sunlight. “You will soon learn the grave mistake you have just made” said the tall man. Kojo looked forward and had no idea where to go, he looked Down and seemed to be wearing nothing but a cloth on his crotch, and his hair was extremely long almost covering his eyes. He ran through the bush right in front of him and didn’t stop until he was out of view of the thin man. Kojo stopped in an open field and lied down after he was short of breath. Looking up at the sky, he gazed into the sun tears started flowing down his face again, he wiped them and started weeping, he had only known yuri for a few weeks but she had still been the only person to show compassion to him. Seeing the sun meant nothing if she wasn’t with him. Just as we was about to leave he heard footsteps several meters to the right of him, he got up and slowly started moving until he heard the thing call his name “Kojo” are you there? The person speaking had an extremely deep voice.“Yes I’m here”
