Alicia will say to the rest of the workers, “You all can go. Becky, stay behind.” The workers stood up slowly. Some whispered, some shook their heads. They were looking at Becky with disgust. Becky sat still, wiping her tears. She was already tired. Her eyes were swollen from crying. The person in the video was her, in her outfit, moving her hands, taking the watch. But deep inside, she knew she didn’t take anything that wasn’t hers. Now, only she and Alicia were in the office. Becky finally found her voice. “I am not a thief,” she said with shaky words. “I have never stolen from anyone.
