LIAM’S POV
“You didn’t!”
My heart warmed the second I saw the absolute surprise on her face.
Such a nice feeling to know that my efforts did mean something.
It had taken a lot out of me to pull this off, to keep this secret, more than I would ever admit out loud, but standing there in front of her, watching her reaction, I knew every bit of it had been worth it.
She looked back at me, still trying to process everything in front of her.
“What… how… why?” she asked, completely speechless, her voice barely holding together.
I smiled at her, trying to keep myself steady even though my heart was beating like crazy in my chest. “Do you like it?” I asked softly.
For a moment, I turned my gaze back to the building that stood tall before us, waiting to be officially opened. Her building.
