Chapter 5 - New teacher

Ruby POV

*The next day*

In the morning, my alarm woke me up at 7 am, but I just snoozed it even though I’d to go to school, but I wasn’t in the mood. Just as I was getting into my sleep again, I heard my door open, and I knew it was Ryan. I could feel the side of my bed dip “Good morning wake up, Ruby” I heard Ryan say, “No, go away I wanna sleep” I answered, and I heard him chuckle. “You were never a morning person, but you’ve to go to school today” I heard him, and I just groaned. I slowly opened my eyes and got out of bed and went to shower. When I got out of the shower, I dried my hair and took a dress on and some accessories, then I braided my hair, put some perfume, brushed my teeth and put deodorant on.

When I got downstairs, I took a banana, and took my car keys “I’m going now, see you later” I yelled to Ryan, “Okay, I’m meeting late today” He yelled back “Okay” I answered. When I got out to my car, I got in my car and opened the garage door and drove away to school. When I got there, I saw my friends, but decided to go to my locker, since I wasn’t ready to face the guys after what happened. When I was on my way to my locker, I was pulled into the janitors closet and I saw that it was the guys. “What do you want?” I asked them

“We just wanted to know if you were okay, so are you okay?” Chad said.

“Yeah, why shouldn’t I be?”

“Because you cried and didn’t wanna talk to anybody for hours yesterday”

“But that doesn’t mean I’m not okay today”

“But still”

I decided I wanted to get out to my locker, so I just did that, I got out of the closet and went over to my locker, and got my books and went to my class, math. When everyone was there, the principle came in, “Good morning everyone”, everyone greeted her back. “Mr. Johnson has quit, and you’ll get a new teacher, and that is Mr. Miller” and when he came in, I started getting scared, because Mr. Miller was… John. He scanned the entire the class, and when he saw me, he smirked and locked his eyes on me. I started getting uncomfortable, but I ignored it and focused on the lesson.

*An hour later*

“Okay, class you’re dismissed, but Miss. Williams you’ve to stay” John said. Everyone got up and left, when I got down to him, he pinned me up against the wall. I tried to get away, but couldn’t, “Just give up, you belong to me now” he said to me through gritted teeth. “I’ll never belong to you” I said back, and he growled as an answer. I decided to knee him where the sun doesn’t shine, and he fell to the floor, “You’re gonna regret this” he said right before I left. I hurried to the toilets, when I came in, I locked myself in one of the stalls. I wasn’t gonna cry, I’ve already cried to much over him, I just needed to clear my mind before going to my next class which was English. When I had cleared my mind, I went to my next class I wasn’t really that late only a couple of minutes, which my teacher is okay with if you get good grades. So yeah, I decided to sit at the back of the class, since I wasn’t in a good mood because of John. I didn’t listen to the teacher at all, my mind was too busy with what John said.

You’re gonna be mine someday, even if I have to cuff you to my bed, you’ll be mine

No, that is not gonna happen, but it all is just way harder when I’m gonna see him almost every day. Suddenly the bell rang, and it was lunch time, when I came into the cafeteria I sat in between Tyler and Josh, and Sarah, Emily and Chad sat on the other side. I didn’t say anything to them the entire lunch time, “Are you okay?” Josh whispered in my ear, I just nodded. The entire day I really didn’t talk to anyone, not even Ryan. When I came home, I heard that Ryan was with the guys again, I just walked in and went into my room and changed my clothes, into some sweatpants, a crop top and a cardigan.

When I came downstairs, I went directly into the kitchen, and got some strawberries, and went outside on our bench, and sat to eat them, but of course my peace should be disturbed by the guys. Ryan, Liam, Noah, James and Mark came out to me, but I just ignored them, when one of them cleared their throat I looked up but quickly focused on my strawberries. I could feel their eyes bore holes into me, but I continued to ignore them since I really didn’t want to talk to them. Mark took the strawberries from me, which forced me to look at them. “Why aren’t you talking to anybody?” Ryan asked, I just shrugged and looked the other way. Liam put his finger under my chin, and forced me to look at him, I could see the concern in their eyes, but I really didn’t want to talk about. I stood up, and started to walk away, when I heard footsteps I started to run, I ran inside and up to my room but before I could close the door Mark’s foot was in between (Mark is the fastest since he plays football) and he is also stronger than me so he could easily open the door, and before I could run into the bathroom, the other guys had came up, and Mark had already caught me. Ryan looked at me “Talk!” he said in a very calm but angry tone, I really am a stubborn girl, so I still didn’t say anything, I could see him getting angrier, he always had anger issues. But I still didn’t say anything, he looked between the guys and I already knew what they were gonna do now, I tried to get away from Mark’s grip on my arm, and the key word is tried, he is way stronger than me so I couldn’t get away. Noah came over and took my other arm, so I couldn’t get away at all even though I couldn’t when it was only Mark that was holding me. The other guys started tickling me, and I couldn’t help but laugh, and I fell to the floor because it was too much, I started kicking with my legs, and Liam took my legs and held them down. So, it was Ryan and James that tickled me. But I could see all the guys smirk, “Will you tell us now, what is wrong?” Noah asked, I shook my head because I really didn’t want to tell them, “Remember that was your own choice” Ryan smirked at me, and they continued tickling me. You could see that the guys were happy to hear my voice. “O-Okay I will tell you, please just stop” I managed to say in between my laughs, they stopped but was in the position.

James POV

We were in the position just to make sure she says it, and to make sure she doesn’t escape. “Today there was a new teacher, and he just seems weird, but at the same time he seems dangerous, and he kept staring at me the entire lesson” She said, and our moods just changed drastically, even though Mark, Liam, Noah and I aren’t her brothers we see her as our little sister, because we have known her our entire lives, and she has always been a big part of our lives and we love her, and just like Ryan we are also very protective of her, and when she talks about boys it piss us off, unless it’s us guys or our little brothers or other we know that is like family to her. “What’s his name” I asked her, “I can’t remember, I didn’t listen to the lesson because of what happened yesterday with John” she answered. Just the name John can make my blood boil, he was a guy that said nasty things to her, and all of us guys would like to beat him up, but we don’t know where he is. “Okay but tell us if there is a problem with him, or any other guy for that sake, instead of ignoring us” Ryan said, she just nodded, “Words!” Liam said in a commanding voice, “You know what, I don’t want to promise something I can’t keep” she said very harshly, and when she said that you could see the regret in her eyes, because she knew what would happen, we started tickling her again, that has always been her weakness, she is very ticklish, so we’ve always been able to control her that way. Her laughs filled the entire house. “St-stop” She screamed in between her laughs, “Not until you promise us, that you’ll tell us the next time” Ryan said. “I ne-need to visit mom today, so st-stop” She said in between her laughs, then we stopped because we know that it’s very important for her to visit her mom. “We’ll continue this when you get home” Liam said to her, she just sent a cute looking mad face to us and walked right past us to her closet “You’re so adorable” Ryan said. Right before she closed the door, she gave us the finger “Go f**k yourself” she said to us and closed the door and locked it. We all went downstairs. We decided to play games on their PlayStation and order some food. That is probably one of the things we do the most.

Ruby POV

When I opened the door out to my room, I saw that the guys had left. Earlier when I told them what happened, I just told them a lie because I don’t want them to worry, nor to walk around me like some bodyguards. I had taken on a pair of denim shorts and a hard café shirt. When I came downstairs, I saw them on the couch, playing on the PlayStation. Noah, James, Mark and Liam practically live here, because their parents are rarely home or really just doesn’t care, which is really sad but yeah, I enjoy having them around. “Bye guys” I yelled at them and went out to my car and got in and drove over to the hospital.
