Chapter 1 - Pool day

Ruby POV

I was sitting in my room and watched Cinderella with real humans on Disney+, yeah… I know Cinderella is for little kids, but I just like the movie. “Ruby… I am going over to some friends” my brother yelled from downstairs, “Okay” I simply answered. My parents are not home, because my father is on some business trip, and my mother is in the hospital with an unknown disease. She has been sick since I was like 7 years, that means about 9 years and it has been hard. That’s when my dad started to earn really much money in his company, since he is the CEO for Williams companies. My brother, Ryan, is gonna take over when he has graduated from college, right now he’s a senior and I’m a junior. He is one of the most popular guys in school, and all the girls loves him. I am also popular but I’m far from most of the girls in my school. They wear slutty outfits and I’m all natural, but I still get all the guys’ attention. Ryan is an overprotective brother which is soooo annoying, because I have never had a boyfriend because of him *Rolling eyes*.

Well back to the reality. I changed into a bikini and went to get some snacks, I took the watermelon and cut it open. Then I took a spoon and a glass of water and went out to the pool.
