*Few Weeks Later*

You don't mean it!! Roxy squealed, young lady keep your voice down! a random lady screamed at her, oh my God! she squealed again which earned her glares from on lookers.

She had just been invited to a fashion show by her friend, Bri you're the absolute best! thank you so much she said, you're welcome Bri replied. This would really help in boosting my career and it would broaden my knowledge Roxy said, Roxanne can't you live a moment of your life without working or thinking about work? Bri asked, I invited you to have fun and feed your eyes, so at the show you must not do anything partaking to work she added authoritatively, yes ma'am Roxy replied, also please look your best there're are going to be fashion dignitaries at the show Bri said as she left the cafe, yes ma'am Roxy replied and went after her.

D-DAY

Lots and tons of people are seen at the red carpet of the melanie's fashion show, among them are two familiar faces.

Bri wearing a flared short dress with matching purse and shoes and her hair styled into a wavy flip, while Roxy was slaying in a well designed evening gown with flowery patterns, a black shoe and a gucci purse, her hair styled into princess braids.

Leaving the red carpet Bri dragged her to a corner in the venue, what is wrong with you Roxy? she asked, wrong with me? Roxy replied puzzled, I clearly told you to look good didn't I Bri said, well I look good Roxy replied, seriously you call this looking good? you've worn this shoes countless times and you're carrying a fake gucci bag Bri blurted out, well I have to wear what i have, i will not allow myself drown in debts to impress people Roxy replied, are you throwing shades at me now Roxanne? Bri asked, I don't remember mentioning names Roxy replied and my purse is not fake she added.

Hi! a lady greeted as she approached them, hi Melanie Bri replied her scowl quickly changing into a smile, wow Brittany I can't remember the last time I saw you Melanie said, hi melanie you look a-ma-zing and great job with what you've done here Roxy said butting into their conversation, thanks Melanie replied shabbily. I was really surprised when you reached out to me Bri, she continued and by the way I heard you got married she added, yeah she did a year ago, she now has a baby girl named brenna Roxy chipped in, excuse me lady I wasn't talking to you Melanie said, Bri who is she? she asked, she's my friend the one I told you about Bri answered.

Bri I don't know where you two met but you shouldn't be friends with this kind of people Mel said as she dragged her aside, sorry Mel i think she's just nervous, she's a big fan Bri said, whatever Mel replied staring at Roxy's dress, I like this design who made the dress? she asked, Roxanne did Bri replied, who's Roxanne Mel asked, come Bri replied and took her to Roxy.

Mel this is Roxanne, Roxy this is Melanie she introduced, did you make this dress yourself? Mel asked, yes I did Roxy replied eagerly, cute Mel said, enjoy the show Bri she added and left.

What is wrong with you Roxy? you almost got yourself kicked out Bri scolded, I'm sorry i was just nervous Roxy replied apologetically, it's alright let's take our seats Bri replied. How do you know Melanie Sanders? Roxy asked as they took their seats, highschool Bri replied, really that's wonderful Roxy said, yeah it is now shush the show is starting Bri replied

The show had ended and Roxy was going through her phone, she was studying the pictures she took of the models from earlier on when Bri walked up to her, Brittany where have you been? she asked, you just left me by myself she added, I've been talking business Bri replied and dragged her up, where are we going? Roxy asked, Melanie wants to see you Bri replied, oh really? why? Roxy asked, stop asking me silly questions Bri replied and they got to Mel's office.

As they got into the office, Mel offered them a seat and went straight to business. Roxanne right? she asked, yeah Roxy replied, you like what you saw today don't you? Mel continued, I loved it Roxy replied, well then would you like to be a part of what you saw melanie said, I mean if you want I'm ready to hire you as a junior designer in this firm she added, junior? Roxanne repeated confused, there would be promotions right, I would eventually became a major designer? she asked, girl this is Melanie Styles not Roxanne whatever Mel replied.

Roxy this has always been your dream Bri said joining in the conversation, finally someone who appreciates your work she added, yeah but didn't you hear what she just said Roxy asked, who gets the credits for the designs I make she added, me of course Mel replied, it's my company it's my designs she added, you're joking right? Roxy asked, hell no Mel replied, I own this firm so i take every credit given to it she added.

So what happens to the designers Roxy asked, they're the ones behind the scenes Mel replied, so they basically to all the work but never get seen Roxy said, and you expect me Roxanna Drews to join the behind the scenes crew she added. I'm sorry Mel but I ain't meant for the backstage she said and walked out on them.

What the hell!! , who do you think you are!! Melanie screamed at her, I'm so sorry Mel, Bri apologized, this is so embarrassing! Mel screamed, I'm sorry I promise I'll bring her to you Bri said. Fine, I want her on her knees right here before me, now get out Mel replied, I'm so sorry Bri apologized once again, get out!!! Mel screamed and bri scampered out of her office.
