I'm so excited! Roxanne squealed happily in the cab, which was taking her to her boyfriend's house. It was his birthday yesterday but busy Roxy had no time to spare in her schedule so she planned on surprising him with his favorite cake and wine today. I hope he likes it she thought outwardly which made the driver smile, admiring how happy she looks. On getting to her destination, she paid the cab ma. and made way to the door of Jack's apartment(Boyfriend), after ringing the door bell an elegant lady dressed in an armless black gown appeared before her, please who are you? she asked politely, hi Roxanne answered I'm Jack's girlfriend she added. On saying this the lady burst into laughter, after laughing she said sarcastically "well girlfriend, I'm Jack's fiancee", fiancee? thought Roxanne, that's a lie you must be one of his cousins or something she said, well why don't you ask him yourself the lady said. Jack! jack! Roxy screamed, hey! stop screaming, the neighbors would complain Jack replied from inside the house, do you think I care? Roxy asked , come out here and face me! she continued screaming, eventually Jack appeared behind the door. Hey Roxanne he greeted casually, baby were you asleep? did she disturb you? the lady asked, I'm fine he answered lovingly which made Roxy scoff, really? she asked, Jack please tell me this is not true, you proposed to this thing ? she added, we've been together for 2 years and this happens she said admist tears, well it happens Jack replied, I waited for you Roxanne he added you were always so busy with work and getting your big break but you never had time for me he said in one breath, she filled that huge gap you left between us he added pointing to the lady and Roxy burst into tears. By the way this happens 6 months ago but you never noticed I was cheating because you never have time for me Jack said and turned to leave with his fiancee when the lady stopped by the door, I'm Matilda by the way she said to Roxy and went inside slamming the door in her face. Roxy managed to hold back her tears as she boarded a cab and went home. She opened the door while trying to wipe the little tear that threatened to drop but was caught by her younger sisters. Roxy what's wrong! Rhianna asked, nothing she answered where's mom she asked trying to change the subject, Roxanne don't hide things from us Riele said c'mon spill Rhi added, he has a fiancee! Roxy blurted out, what the hell! Rhi screamed, who has a fiancee? Ri asked Jack, jack has a fiancee Roxy replied,my goodness I'm so sorry Riele said consoling her, he never deserved you anyways Rhi said, Rhianna! After changing into a navy blue two piece pyjamas, Roxy took out her phone and called Brittany her bestie, she couldn't believe it. That guy is dead meat! Brittany shouted from the other end of the phone , how could he! she added, do you have a picture of her she asked, Bri why would I have a picture of her Roxy replied, sorry bri apologized, Roxanne Bri called, yeah Roxy answered, you know you caused this right? Bri said, yeah, you don't have to tell me, this is the 2nd time this is happening and he actually mentioned it Roxy said, exactly you never had time for him or even me! Bri said , I know you feel like "oh she has a child now, she's married she needs her privacy" and all that but roxy you're my bestie and I need you Bri whined and Roxy sighed, I thought to give you space to take care of Brena Roxy said, taking care of Bree is work and I need someone to relieve me of that stress Bri replied I'm sorry Roxy apologized, I guess I was too focused on making it big that I neglected important people in my life she added, it's okay Bri said, make it up to me,let's have coffee tomorrow she added, sounds like a perfect plan bestie Roxy said see you tomorrow she added then ended the call. *knock* *knock* *knock* Who is it? come in Roxy said answering the door then her mom came into her room, hey mom she greeted, we are waiting for you to come down for dinner her mom said, oh I'm sorry I was on a call, she replied. I heard what happened Mrs Drews said then Roxy forced a smile, it's nothing she said, Estella it's okay to cry her mom said , you were with him for 2 years and this happens? you must feel bad my baby she added, mom it's fine Bri had the perfect plan to get over it Roxy said, fine little Estella is all grown up and doesn't want to share things with her poor mama Mrs Drews whined, mom! don't take it like that, Roxy said let's go for dinner okay Rhi would shin me alive if we're another minute late she added and dragged her mom to the dining table where they had dinner as a happy family.
