To Hook a Star

I'm Bella Clarisse Castro and I'm here to hook the shining star. I'm Elian Crew Aguero and I'm ready to be hooked by the star chaser.   Chapter 1 They say life starts at 20, but in my case, life had never been easy ever since I turned 15. When my mother died, that was where it all started to become a nightmare. We never had a good relationship with our father but thanks to God I have my siblings to lean on and some friends to hold on. Life starts when it starts, life doesn't have any specific age or moods. It starts on the day you were born. It's those dark times when I thought I couldn't handle things anymore but 7 years later, here I am standing straight with my hand clutching my chanel bag feeling fine as I should be. Life will always have its own ups and downs. If it's the gloomy days, then we wait and endure until the sunrise comes again. I smiled as Akeisha, my bestfriend for 8 years now, opened the door of her house for me.   "Hey! You're late! I told you to be here before six but look at the time, it's already six thirty!" She snapped at me. "Chill there, girl. I'm sorry! I woke up late, I didn't notice it was already five." I reasoned out. "Whatever, Bella. I should have known." She tsked. This brat really. "Come on! You have to change your outfit!" I almost rolled my eyes by what she said. "What's there to change for? We're going to have dinner with your boyfriend together with his friend and I think what I'm wearing is appropriate?" The confusion in my voice was thick. "I'm sorry I forgot to tell you, we've changed locations. We're seeing them on his friends resort so that means we'll stay there for the night and no! You can't say no! Tomorrow is your day-off so you're coming with me." "Whatever Keish." I could only roll my eyes at her. "Go on and change! I prepared the beach outfit for you and it's inside the bathroom, go on and check it out!" She looks excited. I stood up and went to her room's bathroom and looked for the outfit she was saying. I gaped at the dress I saw infront of me as it was too revealing for me to wear! It's a backless red beach dress with a plunging neckline and a high slit that would probably reach my thighs. It's too showy! "Don't make me wear this kind of inappropriate dress, Keish! It's not my cup of tea, you brat!" "You wouldn't want to show up there wearing that pants and shirt! Come on, of all these days why did you decided on wearing a simple jeans and shirt today? We're seeing my boyfriend and he's bringing with him his hot celebrity friend!" "So what if there's a celebrity coming with us? I'm only coming with you because you said you needed company! You could've asked Zoreen to go with you instead." I rolled my eyes. I don't care even if it's the most famous celebrity of this generation! "Come on, Bella. We're running late, just please wear that and we'll go already. Please?" She looks like a wounded dog, what a face. "Fine." I stomped my feet as I walked inside the bathroom again, childish, I know but I just couldn't stop it! I could have just slept inside my room this day but the brat was so nosy! I could only sigh because I couldn't do anything when she asks me a favor. I looked at the reflection of the mirror in front of me and saw how the dress revealed half of my breasts, tsk. I walked out of the comfort room and went near to Akeisha who was standing near her door. "I'm wearing a sneakers, will you lend me one pair of your strappy sandals or do you want me to go there wearing this fancy dress being paired by a sneakers?" I mocked but she only laughed as if she won something very expensive. “Of course I’ll lend you one! I could even give them to you if you want to!” She laughed. "Oh for sure!" The time was 7:15 in the evening when we arrived at Coast, the name of the resort. Akeisha said we were late for like 15 minutes and I saw her panicking but I just let her panick on her own.  "Let's go inside." I turned to see Cedrick, her boyfriend kissing her. I grimaced. What a good sight to start the night. Tss. "Hey, Bella!" He greeted me.  "Hey! What's up?" I greeted back just for the sake of formality. "Still looking dashing as ever. Kidding." He laughed as if what he said was funny or was that actually funny? "Anyway, my friend's inside the restaurant, he couldn't come with me because it's crowded today. Let's go, ladies?" He led us the way and we went inside a very cozy restaurant. Inside feels comfortable and the silence of the surroundings is what I'm loving.  "Hey dude," Cedrick greeted the guy. The man faced us and flashed a boyish grin. Well he's not that bad looking, he actually looks hot, as Keisha said. "Hey there, beautiful people! Come and sit with me here." Cedrick pulled the chair for Akeisha and when Mr. Celebrity stood up and tried to pull my chair for me, I quickly said, "Thank you, but I can handle." I immediately sat down and took my bag off. This place is exceptionally beautiful. I'd surely visist here some other time.  "Oh!", Akeisha suddenly blurted out. "Elian, this is my friend Bella Clarisse Castro. She's 23 years old and... oh! She works as a model! Uh... Bella, his name is Elian Crew Aguero, a famous celebrity." She smiled and I smiled at Elian too, out of frmality. "It's nice meeting you, Bella." He flashed that boyish grin again. I nodded and said, "That's good to know."
