When we stopped outside the mansion once again, I didn't even pause to admire the house, which was impossible not to find stunning. All I did was run down the hallway. I stopped, unsure where to go. I hoped he would follow me. I looked at him, still standing by the car, staring at the gardens, furrowing his brow slightly lost in his thoughts before, with a small sigh, looking at me standing there and joining me. "Lola, how about we forget what happened this afternoon?" He said, looking into my eyes. I looked at him in disbelief. "There's something very wrong with you, Frank," I replied coldly. "You're like some kind of chameleon... one minute nice, and the next, cruel and..." I didn't finish the sentence, seeing the anger in his eyes. "You know all about cruelty, don't you?" he said.
