The Alpha Kings Destined

Chapter Nine

My paws thumped against the dirt as I ran. The wind ruffled my fur while the wind whistled around us.

I turned and looked at Kane and Sebastian as they flanked my sides enjoying the freedom that coursed through our wolves.

They yipped happily when the lake came in view as the rest of the warriors followed behind.

"I have been dying for a swim."

Avrils voice flitted through my mind as she spoke through the mindlink.

"Likewise."

We all skidded to a halt at the edge of the lake as we watched it with anticipation. No one made a move to shift so I shrugged and shifted back into my human form.

Nakedness didn't bother me since it was normal for us to shift. Some packs preferred modesty by others but my pack didn't care for it. We all have the same anatomy based on gender so no point in blushing about it.

Avril followed suit as we both ran and jumped in the river. When we both came up for air we looked towards the wolves to see that they were practically gaping at us.

I raised a brow as Avril laughed before dunking back underwater. That seemed to snap them out of their reverie because they suddenly all shifted and jumped in after the other.

"You seem pretty comfortable in your own skin," teased Kane as he swam up to us.

"Well its not like you haven't seen a naked body before. Plus we're born into the world naked and we will leave it naked. Soooo whats the point of not living it naked," Avril said as if she made sense.

I chuckled as I placed my hand on Kanes chest pushing him back as he tried to get closer.

"We are comfortable in our own skin. In our pack no one is modest about their nakedness. In a sense we are animals so if our wolves don't feel its a big deal then neither should we. Nakedness is natural. So let nature run its course," I said with grin.

"Ok now that crap didn't sound wise at all. My explanation was better," Avril said with a laugh as she placed her hands on Kanes shoulder pushing him under.

When he resurfaced he wiped his face as he smirked.

"You do know you just gave me the opportunity to look at your naked bodies underwater," he said as he waggled his brows.

"f*****g Perv," Sebastian said as he swam up to us, slapping Kane upside the head. Before he grinned at us and ducked under water.

"Sebastian," Avril scolded knowing he was sneaking a look.

I squealed when I suddenly felt a hand on my ankle and was dragged under. I looked at him as he smirked at me underwater and pulled me towards him.

I pushed him away and resurfaced welcoming the air into my lungs.

"Sebastian your such a..."

"NEVAEH!"

I froze as my name was growled out loud enough for everyone to hear.

"Oh s**t," Avril whispered as she was suddenly yanked out of the water by a furious Alejandro who immediately covered her body from the prying eyes.

I did not want to turn around knowing exactly who my gaze would find.

Kane and Sebastian backed away from me as they watched the beast behind me cautiously.

"I want all of you out of this lake and back to your duties. Your free time is now over!" He commanded as his voice boomed around the forest.

I could tell he was pissed from his voice and how the air around us grew tense.

The warriors filed out of the lake while I sunk deeper into the water leaving only my eyes out as I tried to blend in with the warriors. As I was about to step out of the lake his voice stopped me.

"Think before you come out of the water mate," he growled out as the warriors looked at me in surprise  before quickly shifting and running off when Axel growled at them.

I stayed in the lake finally having the balls to look at my mate and trust me when I say he looked livid.

His usually light brown eyes were now a darker shade as he clenched his jaw. His fists folded into themselves as if he was restraining himself from hitting something. His stance was rigid as he raised himself to his full height excruciating power. The intimidation factor was definitely there especially since his gaze never wavered from mine. The longer he stared at me the darker his eyes went.

"Hey," I said sheepishly as I gave an awkward wave while keeping my body hidden underwater.

Wait minute I shouldn't feel guitly about this. This is just a careless swim with the warriors, I did absolutely nothing wrong.

With new found determination flooding my senses I raised my chin and walked straight out of the lake without a care in the world as Axels gaze darkened tremendously when he gazed at my naked form.

I went behind a tree and looked for random clothes that were usually stashed all over the grounds for when we went out on runs. They did this in every pack so I assume they also did it here.

"The f**k do you think your doing walking around naked like that. I will not have you acting as a w***e in my kingdom," he sneered.

I rolled my eyes pulling on a shirt as I folded my arms and came out from behind the tree while I leaned against it.

"Forgive me if I'm wrong, but it feels as if you feel like you have a say in what I do," I said with a raised brow speaking formally.

"It's because I do have a f*****g say in what you do. Your forgetting you are my mate little one. And being my mate gives me the right to do as I please with you. You will learn to submit to me Nevaeh," he warned as he neared me.

"I don't submit to anyone. Especially not you," I growled out.

"Don't push me. I will not hesitate to show you who's boss. I forbid you to spend time with the warriors," he snarled.

"Forbid!?" I shrieked.

I laughed without a trace of humor as I stalked up to him.

"You don't get to forbid me to do anything...Alpha," I spat.

"Listen..."

"No you f*****g listen. I don't like being told what to do especially when it comes from you. Forbidding me not to do something you don't like will just make me do it even more. So don't f*****g order me around like you have the right to," I yelled fed up with his attitude.

"I'm warning you Nev..."

He didn't get to finish his sentence because my hand shot out punching him straight in the throat.

He choked as he doubled over grasping onto his throat for air.

My hands flew to my mouth as I stared in shock of what I did and couldn't help but let out my muffled laugh.

"See now look what you made me do. You brought that on yourself," I scolded.

"You little b***h," he wheezed out.

His canines elongated as his eyes flashed gold. He straightened his posture and clicked his neck as he rubbed his throat.

I mirrored his actions showing that I was not going to tuck tail and run. I am an Alpha for crying out loud and it's time I show it.

"Back down Nevaeh," he snarled as he loomed over me.

I snapped my teeth towards him and growled in response.

"How many times do I have to say you need to stop bossing me around. I will not be responsible for my actions."

"Nor would I."

That was all he managed to say before he lunged towards me. We both fell hard on the ground with his weight on top of me causing the air to fly right out of my lungs.

I growled when he latched his teeth into my shoulder. Not enough to cause damage but enough for me to understand he wanted my submission.

I grabbed his hair and yanked releasing his mouth from my body and kneed his manhood causing him to hiss.

He toppled to my right as he cupped himself groaning in pain. I stood up  dusting myself as I walked towards his form, leaning down so my face neared his.

"I will warn you one last time Axel. Don't boss me around or demand anything of me. You lost that right. If you do I will personally hand you your ass."

"This isn't over Nevaeh," he said through gritted teeth.

"Oh sweetie, It was over as soon as I layed eyes on you."

With that said I shifted into my wolf making my way back to the house away from my ignorant mate.
