Violet gazed up at the polluted red tinted sky of Earth. Birthplace of humanity. Cradle of civilisation. The planet with the highest population, most infrastructure and the biggest military. It was also a nightmarish hellscape. Violet had arrived with multiple other ships and they had immediately been met with violence. Not every ship had managed to land into the city. Violet tried to remember the name of the city. There were factories everywhere that filled the air with smoke and chemicals. The city was a monstrous maze of industrialisation. To Violet’s eyes it resembled a beehive more than what she thought of as a city. A hive of steel coated blood red. The atmosphere was so polluted it wasn’t safe to walk around without a gas mask.
