This mission certainly wasn’t going as planned. They were stranded on Earth. The AI on their suits was offline. The communication network was down. There was no way for them to request to be picked up and the ship they had landed on was badly damaged. As the sun set and shadows crept upon the oddly desolate city Violet’s imagination couldn’t help but conjure up a horde of monsters hidden within them. It was like she had returned to her childhood. Terrified of the approaching darkness and what she imagined it might contain. What nightmares walked upon this hellish landscape? What abominations were out here watching them. The feeling of being watched at all times lingered and no one in the group was immune. “We’re not in Kansas anymore.” Sam said. “I doubt any of you get that reference.
