VIXEN Something large and warm surrounds me, solid and comforting. The low, steady beat of a heart thrums steady and gentle against my ear. Hot breath tickles my neck, sending shivers down my back. My eyes blink open to darkness. I try to sit up but large arms stop me, tightening around my waist and pulling me back down. “Mmh… Vix?” A deep gravelly voice rumbles against my back. My entire body tenses up. "Vixen?" The Alpha is so close, his skin pressing against mine. My heart thunders in my chest. I’m certain he can hear it.
