Failed Proposal

"For God's sake, Jacob !! Stop your stupid behavior !!" Shouted a woman in her mid-twenties towards the burly man in front of her. The man of Filipino blood with a stern face looks disappointed with the reaction of the woman. The woman he loves with all his heart, and the only love that has ever stopped in his incredibly fast life - his first love.

"Then say" Yes "My dear Margy!" He begged sadly to her lover.

"I've said it many times !! I'm not ready to get married !! For God's sake !! They say you are a genius lawyer !! But you don't understand what I'm saying !!" Shouted the woman with shoulder-length brown hair and wearing a pink summer-dress chiffon, walking into her private room.

Slamming the door of her room with all she might, a sign that she was annoyed and not paying attention to her lover who almost every day proposed to her in various ways; romantic, coercion, anger, and so on. Even Jacob once brought a wounded dog home, and he threatened not to take the dog to the clinic if Margy didn't accept his proposal, which of course was rewarded with a death slap from the young woman.

"Ha..ha..ha ..! Hit the stone to you friends !!" Said the blonde-haired man who sat on the sofa with his legs raised on the table. The man leaned back casually while enjoying the live drama broadcast with the main actor his best friend; Jacob, he burst out laughing when he saw his perfectionist and best friend rejected for the umpteenth time by his first love.

"You know !! I curse you to have a love story that is more tragic than me !!" Jacob replied angrily and sat down next to the blonde - his best friend since adolescence; Roderick Rausch Hawkin, a man born in San Jose with Celtic blood flowing from his mother.

Roderick has always prided himself on looking exactly like a highlander, he once grew his curly blonde hair and pierced his left ear which was studded with tribal earrings with some ancient Celtic mystical element - but his ridiculous behavior was rewarded with punishment from his mother, which was a week of cleaning the front yard of the house.

"Don't curse me, man !! Besides .. Women will come and go by themselves... Just take it easy !!" His reply relaxed and closed his eyes with both hands supporting his head which was resting on the back of the sofa. Roderick takes cases casually at first, he is easy-going and smart, until he heard more details about a new case he got earlier this week. He suddenly had a frown on his forehead.

"What was the case of Mrs. Mallory?" Jacob asked looking seriously at Roderick who still closed his eyes. Roderick with messy hair, from carelessly combing it with his hands. The man was stressed and depressed handling all the cases on his desk.

"Hmm ... More complicated than your proposal that is always being rejected !! Hah !! Why are you giving me a case like this !!" Growled Roderick irritated.

"This is a case of ordinary divorce and custody ..! Why are you complaining?" Jacob replied in disbelief at what his best friend was complaining about. So far, Roderick is the only person who can keep up with the rhythm of his work, they both compliment each other and become the hottest lawyer duo in California. Jacob relies on Roderick at this time, he decides to focus on his romantic life.

"Huh ... Haven't you heard? Oh yeah... You're too busy applying for Margy and haven't been in the office for a week!" Roderick quipped, "Mrs. Mallory was sued for divorce by Fred, her husband, who also asked for custody of their only daughter; Sofia. The problem became big two days after the lawsuit, Sofia disappeared - and at that time, Mallory was the one who took care of her."

"Wow ... Complicated man!" Jacob sympathized with his friend and slapped Roderick on the shoulder slowly, "What are you planning to do?"

"Well ... I'm going to Mallory's house tomorrow, and ask more about the chronology of Sofia's loss - because it would be burdensome, even criminal," Roderick explained languidly. He is not excited about this case.

"Hmm ... I'll give Maroon5 tickets to Margy tomorrow, I hope it will work !!" Jacob lamented and leaned back beside Roderick, closing his eyes - still thinking about the next proposal strategy for Margy.

Roderick just glances sarcastically at his coworkers who are still messing around with Margy, all the cases that come are finally dumped on his desk. Jacob is temporarily unable to handle any cases until Margy accepts them. Hopefully soon, because he can't handle it all himself.
