In her first life, Maya was the perfect, submissive heiress of the Silvertooth Pack. She played by the rules, only to be traded like property in a brutal, arranged marriage to a cruel elder Alpha. When she tried to run, her own family hunted her down and left her to die in the snow. But the universe cracks open, granting her a second chance. Waking up five years in the past, Maya is back in her eighteen-year-old body as a senior at the elite Lunar Crest Academy. This time, she refuses to be the lamb. By day, she maintains her fragile, quiet facade to keep her treacherous family unsuspecting. By night, she hides her scent behind liquid silver, puts on a mask, and becomes "Raven"—a lethal, ruthless cage fighter in the city's dark underbelly. Her plans for quiet vengeance run into a wall named Jaxon. He’s the academy’s notorious bad boy, a tatted rogue heir who despises Maya's "spoiled princess" act by day, sparking a fierce, banter-heavy schoolyard war. But by night, Jaxon dominates the Silver Cage. When a brutal clash between Jaxon and the masked Raven forces skin-to-skin contact, the undeniable lightning bolt of a Fated Mate bond strikes.Jaxon becomes obsessed with tracking down his mysterious, masked warrior mate, entirely unaware she is the exact same girl he torments in first-period chemistry. And when Maya’s toxic fiancé from her past life arrives on campus to claim his future bride, the drama explodes into a dangerous love triangle. To survive, Maya must lead a deadly double life, balancing a dark game of revenge with a bad boy who is ready to tear the world apart for a girl he doesn't even know he already handles every day.

Chapter 1
The leather of the steering wheel was digging into Maya's palms. She did not feel it. She could not feel the cold rain hitting the windshield of the stolen car or her own heartbeat in her throat. She could only feel this sensation like a knife was sliding between her ribs. "You should have stayed in your cage, bird " Austin's voice was echoing in her mind, smooth and cold just like it was right before everything went black. Before her family turned their backs on her. Before she died in the snow. Maya gasped, her chest moving up and down as she slammed on the brakes. The car stopped on the road of the mountain and the headlights shining through the thick fog to show a big metal gate. Lunar Crest Academy. She stared at the old gate, her breath making the glass foggy. She looked down at her hands. They were small and smooth with no scars. She looked in the mirror. I almost cried. She was wearing the school uniform, a navy skirt and blazer. Her skin was perfect with no marks. She was eighteen again five years in the past. The world had thrown her back into a place exactly six months before her father would sign a contract that would get her killed. "Never " she whispered, her voice shaking but getting stronger. "I will not be a victim." She parked the car in the shadows. I walked into the woods carrying a big bag. Deep in the woods there was a hidden room under a big tree. Inside the room Maya took off her school clothes. She put on clothes and a mask that covered her face. Then she took out a spray. The liquid silver spray. As she used it her skin started to smell different like a wolf, not a high-ranking one. Maya looked at herself in a broken mirror. She did not look like Maya. "Tonight I will start fighting back, " she said. An hour later she was in a part of town standing in a hot and crowded place. The Silver Cage Circuits. The air smelled bad like beer and sweat. Hundreds of wolves were. Fighting in a big cage. Maya slipped through the crowd unnoticed. She had used a name to get into a fight. "Next up the anonymous rogue, Raven versus the Iron Tooth Crusher, Jax " the announcer said. Maya stepped into the cage, the metal humming with energy. Her opponent was a mean fighter. The bell. Jax attacked. Maya used his strength against him, kicking him hard. The crowd went crazy. For ten minutes Maya fought like a woman, kicking and punching Jax until he fell down. The crowd cheered. Maya did not celebrate. She needed to leave before anyone recognized her. She walked out of the cage into an alley. She took out the silver spray to use it again. Suddenly a big shadow blocked the light. Maya froze. A tall muscular man was standing there wearing a leather jacket and tattoos. He was looking at her with piercing eyes. Jaxon. The bad boy from school. Maya's heart stopped. She did not have her mask on. The silver spray was fading. Jaxon took a step forward, his eyes locked on hers. He smelled the air and his eyes sparkled with recognition. He stared at her his voice low and rough. "Look what the rain dragged out " Jaxon said, stepping close to her.
