The Story of Trivania

Trivania was born on February 16, 2008. She grew up without knowing her father—not his name, nor even his appearance. When she was still a child, her mother left her in the care of her grandfather.

However, Trivania never felt lonely because her grandfather showered her with love and care. When Trivania started school, her young mind also began to suffer abuse—something she didn’t fully understand at the time.

Without her knowledge, her male cousin, whom we will call Jerome, heartlessly took advantage of her. He made the innocent Trivania believe that there was nothing wrong with what he was doing to her.

This continued until Trivania reached third grade when her mother left her once again and returned her to her grandfather. It was at this point that Trivania’s once colorful and joyful life began to change.

She thought it was all over—that she could forget everything and move on.

Trivania’s grandfather often left the house to attend church, but he never took her along because it wasn’t allowed. Instead, he left her in the care of her uncle and aunt. At first, everything seemed fine, and there were no problems. However, one day, unexpectedly, she was left alone with her cousin, Chris.

Trivania felt at ease, believing that Chris was kind and trustworthy. What she didn’t know was that he was just like her other cousin. As fear consumed her, tears streamed down her face as she begged him to stop. But no matter how many times he hurt her, she remained silent—paralyzed by fear.

Trivania and her family even had to go to the barangay captain to ask for rice, just so they could have something to eat. Their health was no longer a priority—they were simply trying to survive each day.

As time passed, restrictions gradually eased, allowing people to return to work. Trivania took this opportunity and found a job at a nearby fast food restaurant as a cook. Her shift started after lunch and ended at 9:30 PM. She earned only 100 pesos per day, but she endured the hard work just to help pay for household expenses.

Despite her efforts, their family struggled to pay rent for several months. Eventually, they were forced to leave their home.Fortunately, Trivania’s grandfather had left behind a house as an inheritance, giving them a place to stay. She once again joined her aunt in selling goods to earn money for their daily needs. Life became a bit better for her as she no longer experienced the painful events of her past. However, problems with her parents persisted, as they constantly argued.

To cope with her emotions, Trivania began writing poetry. She was a diligent student and an academic achiever, focusing all her energy on her studies and writing. Through poetry, she poured out all her emotions, and little by little, she began to heal. However, due to her past experiences, she still found it difficult to interact with others.

For two years during the pandemic, she continued her healing journey while staying at home. By the time she entered ninth grade, she felt nervous about returning to school. When she did, she remained extremely quiet, barely speaking, which made her classmates hesitant to approach her. But Trivania didn’t mind—she was just grateful to be able to attend school peacefully.

One morning, Trivania woke up early and prepared for school. When she arrived, her science teacher unexpectedly entered the classroom and announced that they would be checking their assignments. Trivania was shocked—she had forgotten to bring hers, as the teacher wasn’t scheduled to be in class that day.

Noticing Trivania’s nervousness, a classmate named Alyvria approached her and asked what was wrong. When Trivania explained the situation, Alyvria generously offered her own assignment and let Trivania copy it. Trivania was deeply grateful. However, just as they finished, their teacher suddenly remembered that they weren’t supposed to have a class that day after all. The situation made both Alyvria and Trivania laugh, and from that moment on, they became best friends.

Despite this, there were still judgmental and nosy people around. Some of their classmates gossiped about Trivania behind her back, saying mean things about her. She even experienced bullying, but instead of letting it affect her, she chose to ignore them and focus on her studies—this time, with a true friend by her side.Trivania found comfort in her friendship with Alyvria, confiding in her about her family problems and emotions. However, every time she returned home, she felt a deep sense of loneliness. Her parents were always at work and would only come home late at night, leaving her alone for most of the day. To ease her sadness, she would sometimes invite Alyvria over, and they would spend time talking and sharing stories.

Alyvria had a boyfriend named Deyne, who often teased Trivania. Trivania didn’t like Deyne’s attitude and warned Alyvria that he wasn’t a good person. But Alyvria refused to listen,

Without her knowledge, her male cousin, whom we will call Jerome, heartlessly took advantage of her. He made the innocent Trivania believe that there was nothing wrong with what he was doing to her.but her grandfather don't know about it and still remained by her side, always supporting her. But when she turned seven years old, her mother took her away from her grandfather. Trivania's mother was a lesbian and had a live-in partner, a woman who mistreated Trivania. She was verbally abused and pressured when it came to her studies. As fear consumed her, tears streamed down her face as she begged him to stop. But no matter how many times he hurt her, she remained silent—paralyzed by fear. For almost a year, Trivania endured this suffering. But despite everything, life still didn’t favor her. Another great challenge came her way when her grandfather had an accident while farming—he broke his leg, which drained their savings. Determined to help, Trivania found ways to earn money while studying in the fourth grade. She joined her aunt in selling fruits on the streets, sometimes feeling like she was begging just to make a little income. There were times when her plastic bag of fruits would tear, causing her products to fall onto the street. She asked for help picking them up, but no one assisted her. While some kind-hearted people bought from her to help, others looked down on her, treating her with disgust despite her honest work. At a young age, Trivania had to fend for herself while also taking care of her injured grandfather. One day, she asked a kind cousin to accompany her to the market to buy grapes for her grandfather. The market was far, requiring them to travel by vehicle. After purchasing the grapes, they became extremely thirsty. Their money was just enough for the fare, but their thirst was unbearable, forcing them to spend some of it on water. Now short on fare, they had no choice but to wait for help. Fortunately, a passing truck driver gave them a ride, dropping them off closer to their barangay. After several months, Trivania’s grandfather recovered. Around the same time, her mother returned to her grandfather’s house and stayed for a while. However, she soon fell into debt, forcing her to leave again. This time, she took Trivania with her. Trivania cried, unwilling to go because she felt much closer to her grandfather. But she had no choice. When Trivania went with her mother, she became quiet and withdrawn, barely speaking to anyone. She stopped making friends at school, and her life was filled with sadness. To make things worse, her mother and her mother's live-in partner often fought. This continued until she finished fifth grade. As she was nearing the end of sixth grade, an unexpected tragedy struck—her grandfather slipped in the bathroom and was hospitalized. He could no longer stand or move properly. Trivania was devastated. The pain she carried—towards her family, herself, and especially for her beloved grandfather—became overwhelming. Not long after, her grandfather passed away. Trivania fell into deep depression, feeling trapped in her grief. Her own mother didn’t even know the extent of her suffering. Desperate for someone to talk to, she created a f*******: account, hiding her real identity, just to find people she could confide in. As she slowly tried to heal, another problem arose—her mother became addicted to gambling. She wasted all their money and eventually lost her job. Once again, Trivania and her family sank into poverty. To make matters worse, this happened at the same time that the COVID-19 pandemic was spreading across the world. Trivania and her family even had to go to the barangay captain to ask for rice, just so they could have something to eat. Trivania didn’t like Deyne’s attitude and warned Alyvria that he wasn’t a good person. But Alyvria refused to listen, so Trivania eventually stopped trying to convince her. Deyne had a cousin named Cazee, who was also their classmate. Unlike Deyne, Cazee was kind and friendly, so Trivania and Alyvria became close to her as well. However, because of Deyne’s constant teasing, Trivania slowly began to distance herself from Alyvria. No matter how much she tried to ignore it, the teasing never stopped, and it made her feel uncomfortable. Little by little, the friendship she once cherished started to fade. When Alyvria finally realized Deyne’s true nature, she decided to leave him for good. The two rekindled their strong friendship, and Trivania felt relieved to have her best friend back, knowing that Alyvria had finally seen what she had been trying to warn her about. However, despite their restored friendship, Trivania’s hardships did not end. One day, a terrible accident occurred—her mother’s live-in partner was scalded with boiling water. Due to the severity of the burns, they had to be hospitalized and undergo treatment. Most of the family’s savings were spent on hospital bills and medication. To make matters worse, Trivania’s mother lost her job, plunging their family further into financial difficulty. Once again, Trivania searched for ways to help support her family but sadly she didn't find any this story is to bd continued due to the lack of time of the writer because she is only a student so please stay tuned and support my stories
