She looked annoyed as she sat in her booth and I could help but grin at her expression.
"So do you buy all the ladies here drinks and make them sit with you?" she huffed at me.
"Only the ones that deserve my attention." She rolled her eyes at my response. "It’s cool not growing old. I like being the eternal stud." I grinned wider at her.
I leaned forward on my arms, "Are you jealous that I've had other women in my life over the last 200 years or so?" I stare straight into her eyes and take a large gulp of my drink.
"Jealous? Of old women who are most likely dust by now?" she took a long pause, "No, no not at all."
I gave her a pointed look and shrugged as I leaned back in my seat "Not all of them…" I drank the rest of my whiskey in one gulp.
Amora looked at him, "Not all of them? Lucky them then."
"Did you ever stop to think about the fact that one day you would be one of the old women likely to be dust in say the next 100 years? You never know in 200 years I might have a girl sitting right where you are in this bar saying the same thing about you. Eternity is a very long time, Amora."
"To become one of you?" She gulped her drink in two gulps, "No thanks."
"I would never curse you with this life, Amora. You are too sweet for that. I hope that you are one of those women that I still talk about in years to come. The stubborn human girl that threatened a vampire and lived to do it again."
She smirked at the bloodthirsty vampire sitting across from her, "You saying I'm stubborn?"
"The most stubborn girl I have ever met." I smiled at her flashing my fangs. She didn't even flinch which I will admit annoyed me a tiny bit.
Does she not have any natural instincts to protect herself? How can she just smile at the sight of the deadliest weapons ever to exist. Guns, poison, knives, they have nothing on my fangs. Sharper than anything and capable of ripping through flesh faster than one could blink and yet all she has done is smile at them.
I was about to say something on the matter when an urgent voice sounded from across the bar.
"Boss we have a situation."
