Seriously? What now?
Nicole resisted the urge to roll her eyes as yet another of the German visitors appeared at her desk, likely wanting to complain about some trivial thing. She’d been busy most of the morning straightening up cabins while the guests were out and then Velinda had guilt-tripped her into making some sort of pastry for the guests to have with coffee in the afternoon. She had finally escaped the kitchen and hoped to get the office a little more organized—and have some time to herself to sort out that odd lunch conversation with Jesse—but she had yet to get one free minute.
