As if she didn’t already have enough on her plate! Her once prestigious-sounding Office Manager position had almost completely transformed into a housekeeper/kitchen helper job, and now that she was going to have to be roomies with that miserable woman, she couldn’t even escape to her room for solitude! And to think she was almost starting to like her. Well, the new living arrangements should put a quick stop to that.
It had been a logistical nightmare figuring out where to transfer all the junk that was being stored in the only other room with a bed. Actually, there wasn’t even room for the mattress leaning against one wall until Nicole had made about fifty trips with the overflow junk that was under and on top of the metal bed frame. She filled every last inch of space
