Unfortunate Luck

I love you

She was sad at first that he didn't wait for her or four up a fight for her but she was relieved too by the fact that she would not have to deal with him anymore and could focus on her goal. With that though in mind, she took her things, locked the house saying one last goodbye to it and left. On he ready to the airport all she could think was the possibilities if she had given Oliver a chance this morning, she felt that it could have changed everything but again if he really wanted her in his life he would have stayed even if she asked him not to, she closed her eyes and leaned it against the back of the seat and spoke to herself 'Just when I was finally able to find some happiness in my life, you come back and stir troubles again.'

She then opened her eyes and looked out of the window which finally made her stop thinking about Oliver, she panicked and looked at the driver "This is not the way to the airport."

The driver calmly responded showing no signs of a bad intention "Ma'am this is another road to the airport that does not have much traffic and will help you reach on time, you may check it on a the maps."

She calmed down a bit but she still didn't trust the driver so she took out her phone to see if he was speaking the truth. She then apologized to the driver as it was indeed the road eventually leading to the airport but her heart felt uneasy, she felt that something was wrong. After some time the car stopped in front of a huge mansion and the driver said "Ma'am you will have to get out for a while, I think the car has stopped. She nodded understanding and moved out saying "Please make it quick or I will miss the plane."

"Yes ma'am"

She stood outside the car for a few minutes and then someone picked her up and took  her inside the mansion ordering the driver "Bring her luggage inside."

She could not see the face of the person as he picked her up from behind but she recognized the voice, she struggled out of his grip, kicking him and trying to loosen his grip along with shouting at him "Let go of me, Oliver, I need to get to the airport."

He took her inside and into the main hall when he finally let go of her "I am aware of that but before you leave please hear me out."

She rolled her eyes at him and spoke "You have 10 minutes, start."

He knew she was not kidding so he quickly began to do what he had planned, he dimmed the lights of the room and brought out a guitar, he first sang a beautiful romantic song. After finishing it, he bent down on one knew while rose petals showered over her head, her jaw dropped in surprise, she was shocked that he prepared all this in such short time but her heart completely melted when he spoke "Cindy, I fell in love with you, the first time I saw you and I just could not help  but imagine my whole future with you. I know my parents don't like you but please don't leave me because I don't have a future planned for myself that does not include you. I will do anything to help you fulfill your dreams but please don't leave my side. I love you so much that I would die if you were to escape from my life."

Tears rolled down her eyes, she too bent down on her knees, she finally gave in and wrapped her arms around his neck and smashed her lips against his kissing him passionately. He kissed her back ,she cupped his face and when they were done she finally spoke "I love you too but Oliver, I can't let you go against your parents, they have been there for you all their life and I just can't take thier son away from them. Moreover my dream involves a lot of moving around the world, you can't just leave your business for me so it is good for both of us to take our separate ways."

After saying this she didn't allow him to say anything and with tears in her eyes, she rushed out grabbing her luggage. She rushed back to the car and asked the driver to take her to the airport. This time the driver followed her command and headed straight to the airport. 

Oliver could not just sit there and cry and give up on her, he didn't plan to go against his parents, he would always be there for them but he was ready to do anything to stay with her, she was unaware of how deep his love was for her, he sat in his car and took an even shorter route to the airport that only he knew about so that he could reach the airport before her. 

When she reached the airport, she went though all the security checks and did everything essential thing she had to and when it was time to enter, she came to know that her ticket had been shifted to the first class, she knew Oliver would have done that but she was happy that he finally understood what she wanted and let her go easily. With a heavy heart but a sweet smile on her face she entered the plane and took her seat but she was surprised to see that it was completely empty and she was the only one sitting there. She then told herself that maybe she was a little early as she thought she had her original seat and all the first class seats were filled only when the plane was about to leave. Her thoughts were interrupted when an attendant came and wished her "Good morning ma'am, would you like to have anything."

She smiled and said "Not yet, thank you."

The attendant smiled at her "Ma'am if you need anything feel free to call me."

Cindy nodded and the attendant left.
