Joon: 12.12.15
I leaned on the wall and watched Hae-In and Lee practice fighting styles techniques on each other, they were getting better but I knew they couldn’t beat me in a one-on-one, maybe a two-on-one. I haven’t taken on that many in a while, I stretched my arm and gripped my bicep when Lee grabbed Hae-in by his and threw him across the room. Hae-in braced the impact, did a barrel roll, and landed on his feet with a bit of a stumble.
Being in a crime family, you had to learn combat training and weaponry at a young age. Lee was a black belt at age twelve mastering Feng Shou, Wing Chun, Jow-Ga, and Judo, his weaponry skills are accurate and I can say that he’s the only sniper I trust. Let’s just say that I can name everyone I trust on one hand. Hae-In combat skills are above average, he mastered Judo and Aikido by age fourteen, Tai Chi by age sixteen and now is training in Muay Thai. What stands out about Hae-In is that he’s been hacking since age ten plus he can throw knives with his eyes close and I mean that literally. After we found out who was heir to what, we showcased our skills and I was impressed when he hit the mark 30 feet away.
Well me? Eh, I rather not say. Anyway, back to the fight. They were 6 feet away from each other, seeing who was going to attack first. I sighed because they both are defensive fighters and neither were going to attack first.
Guess I’ll give them a boost, I thought as I fold my arms “Go for his left, Lee,” Hae-In tensed “you know that’s his weak side.” I taunted.
Lee raised an eyebrow as he smirked and took a hold of Hae-In’s left arm, pulled it, tripped him and put him in an armlock.
I saw Hae-In struggle then sighed again “Hae-In, you know Lee knees are his weakness.” Lee looked panicked then at me in betrayal.
Hae-In took that moment to punch Lee on the side of his knee, causing him to groan and let go of Hae-In. Hae-In scrambled away from Lee. They both scrambled up, but this time they went right at each other and ended in a collar tie. I watched, impressed, when Hae-In put Lee into a flying armbar, I was more impressed when Lee escaped so quickly and kicked Hae-In away from him. They went on a couple of more minutes with me exposing both their weaknesses to each other.
“H-”
“Shut up, Hyung!” They both yelled as they glared at me, I feigned offense and walked away from their match. I glanced around the abandoned unit before setting my sights on the guy, Jared, we ‘attained’. I sighed before glancing around and saw some discarded boxes, I walked toward them and started browsing through the leftover s**t. If you’re wondering what we’re doing in an abandoned unit because you’re too lazy to put two and two together then I’ll tell you.
Since Lee and Hae-In still have strong ties to their families, they’ve been helping their families allies in the West meaning running heist, collecting loans, eliminating threats, odd jobs, etc… And on the second or fourth Saturday of the month is usually when we eliminate threats. We had three victims and captured all of them but we weren’t expecting to still be here at f*****g six o’clock. Mind you we’ve been in this shithole of a town since ten, setting up. Our first two captures were a breeze and I was happy that we would be done early today, but nooo Jared wanted to go on a wild chase through town. We went through hell chasing Jared down and when we finally caught him, Lee was aggravated and knocked him clean out. Mind you that that was two hours ago, well, at least his nose stopped bleeding.
“I give, I give!” I heard Hae-In yelp, I turned around and saw that Lee had Hae-In in a triangle choke. Lee released Hae-In making him drop to the floor with a thud but Lee hopped up with a smile.
"Hyung" Lee looked over at me “Wanna have a go?” He asked with a smirk.
I scoffed “Don’t get ahead of yourself.” I dropped the magazines into the box “You know that you both can’t beat me.” I stated.
Hae-In finally got up and rubbed his neck while glaring at Lee “I’m not agreeing with that statement” I snapped my eyes to him “and I’m also not disagreeing with it.” He added.
I raised an eyebrow at them “Would you like to try?” I asked lazily.
They both glanced at each other warily before trying to back out but I was bored and it didn’t seem like Kent was waking up anytime soon.
I took my jacket off and hung it on the back of a chair “No, I don’t want my skills to get rusty.” I rolled up my sleeves “So you both can come at the same time.” I offered as I threw my hat onto the same chair.
They both sighed and spread around me before getting into their stances. I opened my mouth but was cut off with a groan, I furrowed my eyebrows because it didn’t come from any of us meaning that it came from Kent. We turned to him and his eyes were fluttering open, we all stilled when his head dropped backward and he let out another groan. I frowned then turned to them, they both looked a little relieved, Punks.
I sighed sadly “Guess we’ll have to reschedule.” I pouted.
Lee ignored me and walked up to Jared. grabbed his hair and pulled it back, making Jared whine like the little b***h he is. I eased back into the shadows because I wanted him to see his face when he knew I’m here.
“Is he the last one for today?” Lee asked with a scowl. Hae-In took out a cigarette and place it in his mouth before nodding at Lee. Lee gave him a rueful smile.
“You hit hard as hell, Lee.” Jared groan, moving his hair “Lay off the hair, man! It took me hours to fix it like this!” He whined.
Lee mocked his whining “Shut up!” He sneered, making Jared flinch.
I tuned out of the conversation and started to pick through the weapons, Hammer, pliers, crowbar, pipe, bat, my hand lingered on the bat Eh, I haven’t used a bat in a while, I picked it up and gave it a few swings. I smiled as I laid it on my shoulder and silently walked back to them.
“-Joon’s not here, is he?” I could hear the fear in his voice and I smirked a little.
Lee shook his head “No,” he lied “It’s just us for today.” Hae-In caught my line of sight and nodded.
Jared slouched in relief “Thank God,” He sighed as he sat up with a smile “I was sc-”
I stepped out of the shadows and in front of Jared, I felt satisfied when I saw him turn pale “You didn’t want to see me Jared?” I frowned “I’m truly hurt.” I smiled “Now Jared,” I started to pace in front of him “do you remember what I told you what would happen the next time I saw you?” I asked as I stopped in front of him and pointed the bat at him.
He looked at me with fear “No.” He sputtered.
I pursed my lips and sighed before glancing at Lee and Hae-In “He doesn’t remember?” They both shook their heads in pity “You don't remember?” I asked mockingly.
He looked a little sick “I don’t-”
I lift the bat and swung at his left kneecap, his scream was high pitch that I almost didn’t catch the crunch of his knee, it actually made me cringe. I blinked and shook out of it as I rubbed my right ear then glanced at them.
Hae-In shook his head “7.6” He decided.
Lee clapped “8.3.” He decided then whistled.
I smiled at them “He’s today winner, huh?” I asked.
Hae-In stomped his cigarette out “You should give the winner his prize, yeah?” He suggested but I shrugged.
I gave Jared a blank face “Do you remember now?” I asked once he stopped screaming.
“f**k!” He exclaimed then looked up at me in pain in disbelief “How can you ask me that when I’m in pain??” He whined before he bend over in a hump.
I stifled my smirk and rolled my eyes “I’ll hit you in the chest if you don’t answer my question in the next 5 seconds.” I deadpan as I lift the bat up again.
He grunted before sitting up slowly “Would you like me to repeat it in Korean?” He asked sarcastically.
I snorted while Hae-In and Lee scoffed in response. Why is it always the smart asses?
I lifted the bat to his neck and pushed it to his throat “Actually, yeah.” He frowned “Say it in Korean or I’m aiming here.” He looked up at me in horror.
