Lord Jesus, thank you for the gift of life. We say be thou exalted in Jesus’ name. We pray you will forgive all our sins and shortcomings. We commit today’s activities into you able hands Lord, we plead that you will take absolute control in Jesus’ name. We cover everywhere with the precious blood of Jesus. Thank you Lord for answered prayers. In Jesus’ name we pray,” the principal, Mr. Lucky prayed. “Amen,” the students chorused. “How are you doing today?” Mr. Lucky said. “We are fine sir,” the students chorused. “In that case, glory be to God. I want you to pay attention to the following instructions. Firstly, your second term examinations will commence on Monday unfailingly. Defaulters won’t be allowed to write the exams and even if they do, their results won’t be given to them. Understood?” Mr. Lucky said. “Yes sir,” the students chorused. “(Faces the upper basic 3 students) why are you few today? Mr. Lucky said. “We don’t know sir,” the students chorused. “Oh, because you have written your WASSCE. I want you to pass this across, nobody should absent himself or herself from school till we vacate,” Mr. Lucky said. “Okay sir, the students chorused. “I really applaud you for your wins in your WASSCE. I pray these wins will be consistent,” Mr. Lucky said. “Amen,” the Students said. “During the holiday, tutorials will be available in the school towards your National Examination Council Senior School Certificate Examination (NECOSSCE) which will commence by June. I want everyone to be in attendant. It is free and not mandatory but important. Are you getting me?” Mr. Lucky said. “Yes sir,” the students said. “Now, to all of you, I want you to abide by the school etiquettes today. You can go to your respective classrooms now,” Mr. Lucky said.      Soon, the psychotherapist and counsellor, Mrs. Rejoice, enters upper basic 3 (Joyce’s class) “Good morning ma,” the students said. “Good morning to you all and how are you doing today?” Mrs. Rejoice said. “We are fine ma,” the students said. “I am here to give you a piece of vital information before the first subject teacher comes in,” Mrs. Rejoice said. “Okay ma, the Students said. “Now listen. You are matured enough and acquainted with the term “career,” right?” Mrs. Rejoice said. “Yes ma,” the students said. “Okay. I guess the principal told you all that there will be tutorials during holiday?” Mrs. Rejoice said. “Yes ma. The principal said it is free,” the students said. “Yes, it is free. So, during one of these tutorials days, I will explore the term “career” with you. Do you love that?” Mrs. Rejoice said. “(Claps) yes ma,” the students said. “Good. Let me go out now so that your teacher can come in,” Mrs. Rejoice said and walked away.     Immediately, Mrs. Rejoice left the classroom, the Biology teacher, Mrs. Brown walks in. “Good morning Mrs. Brown,” the students said with smiles. “Good morning students. How are you doing?” Mrs. Brown said. “We are fine ma,” the students said. “Good. I am so happy with your grades in your WASSCE, especially in Biology. You really tried. A round of applause for yourselves,” Mrs. Brown said. “(Claps) thanks you Jesus for the wins,” the students said. “Alright. I want you to do more better in your NECOSSCE. Therefore, I will take you through brainstorming. Are you interested?” Mrs. Brown said. “Yes ma,” the students said happily. “Now I start. I don’t want a chorused answer. Raise your hands up whenever you want to answer any question. Do you concur?” Mrs. Brown said. “Yes Mrs. Brown,” the students chorused. “Which of the following is not correct about living cells? A clap for this wit,” Mrs. Brown said and everyone clapped. “Clap for madam,” Joyce teased and everyone laughed. “It is okay. Let me call out the next question.
