We already had steps for the plan.
One: Crash the party
Two: Instigate a peace treaty with the boys.
Three: Get the boys up to Lucas' room. (OK i had no idea how we were going to pull that off but we will).
Four: Get them to drink the champagne.
Five: Lock them in, in nothing but their underwear and escape through Lucas' window.
Of course without them the party would stop automatically. Mission complete. Revenge done. Hopefully none of the others would come here looking for them. They would probably think they were hooking up with us. That always happened in parties like this.
Naughty! Improper thoughts right? But in order to play a teenage boy i had to think like one. But then Reggie was a problem. We had not planned for her. Of course she would come looking for them. She is Lucas'
Fricking cousin!
Just as Kathy and i were contemplating drugging her too, she announced that it was getting late. She had a curfew and had to get home. Yeah, things were going according to plan.
Instigating the peace treaty. It was simple enough. But we had to pretend to be friendly and swoon over them. Yeah, i felt like gagging but sacrifices had to be made.
Kathy was a better actor and made her way to pip who was sitting on the couch with Lucas. They were both taking shots. Two other boys were with them. I remembered one as Aaron, the boy who had jumped in the pool. He still looked drunk.
"Can we join in", she said, i behind her. The boys looked up at us, shock evident on their faces. Then they composed themselves, smirking.
"We know you girls were into us" Pip said. "Took you long enough to admit it".
Yeah right like i would ever admit to that. i seethed inwardly, but plastered a fake smile on my face and prayed the boys were dumb enough to believe our acting. Kathy was superb at acting though. She had been in the drama club in highschool.
She daintily went to sit on Pip's lap, winking at him. Oh my god! Did she just do that? Kathy was a really good actor, considering the fact that she had told me how she was itching to punch Pip's face for calling her 'skinny'.
Why the hell had she left Lucas for me? It would had been easy to act with Pip, mostly because i did not have any weird feelings around him.
To say Pip was shocked was an understatement. You needed to have seen the look on his face.
"Why Skinny... This is a surprise". He said composing himself immediately.
Did he just call her skinny again? Please Kathy, I pleaded inwardly. Don't lose it now. To my utmost joy Kathy smiled sweetly at him.
"Common Pip, you know i could never resist someone as hot as you".
She removed the face cap from his head and placed it on hers. She definitely deserved an ovation. I knew Kathy had been dying to empty a drink over his head all night. Plus Kathy would never admit to having the hots for a boy to his face. I knew her that much.
I stared in surprise as a blush crept up pip's face. Did he just blush? Did the cocky bad boy Pip just blush? This night was definitely getting interesting.
Kathy took no notice of this though. She was oblivious to most things.
"So uh... Care for a drink?" Pip asked uneasily.
Alright! I had to give Kathy a hand. She was great at this. She should probably go into acting. She had definitely managed to unnerve the bad boy. Giving him a dose of his own medicine.
I turned to Lucas who had been watching me all along, an intense expression on his face. It took my breath away. Was i supposed to go to him now? Hell no! Cocky, flirty Lucas was definitely safer and less dangerous than intense looking Lucas. Why the hell was he staring at me like that?
The room suddenly became too hot and i looked around at anywhere but him. Just then i caught Kathy's eyes. She was signalling me to play my part. Yeah right. No way was i doing to Lucas what she just did to Pip. I wasn't that brave. Plus, i was a bad actor. Lame right? Considering the fact that i was the one who came up with the plan. Whatever would i do without Kathy?
I decided then that Kathy seducing Pip was enough.
"So uh Pip" Kathy went on, ignoring me when she saw that i wasn't going to budge from my spot. "We're actually here for a peace treaty. Maury and i".
"Peace treaty uh?" Lucas said obviously not buying it.
"It's true!" I chipped in. "We just got tired of fighting with you guys. It's not worth it".
"Good thing you girls came around". Pip said, reaching for a glass of drink".
"Of course Pip love. Why make war when you can make love".
Pip chocked on his drink, clearly flustered. Yeah Kathy was the best and she was killing it. The boys including Lucas hooted laughter, except Pip of course. It was quite amusing to see that Pip wasn't so much of a bad boy as i thought he was. Kathy was definitely beating him at his game.
But i could tell Kathy's couldn't last long. One, it took a lot to get her into it. The real Kathy wasn't that brave. I knew i had to save her immediately before she starts fumbling her perfectly prepared script. She was beginning to get uneasy i could tell. Faltering under Pip's gaze. I needed to take it from here. I immediately pulled Kathy off him, to her shock and relief.
"So boys.... can we take this upstairs?".
"What! " It was Lucas' turn to chock on his drink.
"The peace treaty of course".
The other boys Aaron and Ted smiled immediately. They probably thought they were in on it too. Losers!
"Oh yeah right" Pip said eagerly, standing up. Teenage boys. So predictable. Kathy had obviously worked her magic. I winked at her and she blushed. Hard.
"Aren't you coming along Lucas? I said coyly to him.
"Uh OK" he said getting up. Still. Skeptical.
I led the way upstairs. This was definitely
the bravest thing i had ever done. Aaron and Ted made to join us. Kathy immediately stopped them.
"Just us four" she said.
The boys' face fell. They composed themselves immediately.
"Sure" Aaron said. He looked kinda cute i had to admit. Ted, not so much. His eyes were too far apart.
"You lucky dogs!" Aaron called to Pip and Lucas who ignored him.
What the hell?
One could never tell what went on in the minds of hormonal teenage boys.
