It was the day she has been waiting for. Her parents are finally coming home! She always hated it when they take these business trips. Only this time it was longer, instead of only being gone for two weeks they've been gone for two months. As the car pulled up to pick her and her best friend goergina up she forced herself to focus. It was the last day of highschool and she couldn't wait to tell Mrs Crowley how she did on her final exam. As they drove off goergie started the conversation. "Mom, you will never guess what happened today." "Hmm you got asked out by Bradley cooper?" "How did you guess?" "You are to predictible sweetheart." They all laughed but that laughter was soon cut off from the phone that started ringing "Keep it down now girls" Mrs Crowley said "Hello" "Are you sure?" Kayla started to get worried at the tone of Mrs Crowley's voice "I'll be sure to let her know...yes of course...thank you...bye" "What's wrong?" Kayla asked Mrs Crowley pulled over. "it's your parents honey. Their plane crashed. They said there were no survivors. " At that Kayla couldn't hold back her sobs and folded into the open arms of her best friend.
