FIRST MEETING

Hi, I am Rihana, I live in kolkata , India with my small family. Me, my Ma (Mother), my Baba(Father), and my younger sister Ahana stay with me. I am twenty years old Bengali woman with a dream to build my dance carrier in Kathak and Bharatnatyam (Classical Indian dance forms). I am already attached with a famous dance institution viz, "The NATARAJ" (Lord of Dance also known as Lord Shiva). and I do many dance programs which are organized by our dance institution. I love my family and my dance. My parents and younger sister also love me a lot and they are my life.

Today is a big day of my life, today I will perform a dance item in an event which is organized by my dancing institution with the co-operation of an NGO for helping orphan children, and this time we manage to get a huge sponsorship and some foreign investment. I am practicing my final moves on stage it is about 11..30 A.M. . I am practicing these dance movements for the past one hour. 

"Rihana you are doing it perfectly my child," Madam Neha said to me with a lot of affection and love in her voice.

She is our dance instructor and she is very good in it.

 "Thank you Madam but I am nervous," I said to her.

"Why my child?" She asked me.

" I have a solo performance which has approximately 5 minutes duration and this is my first-time solo performance in this type of big event," I said to her then I paused for few moments and said again "It is an item number of Bharatnatyam known as 'Ganesh Vandana' which is not easy and if it is not done perfectly it will look bad on the stage and as I am doing it as solo performance any small mistake can look ugly. "

"Rihana...You love to dance and when you will perform on the stage listen to your heart and you will do it perfectly. Do not worry you will do it perfectly on stage as a teacher of yours I have full confidence in you," she said to me.

"Thank you for guiding me," I said to her.

"You need rest. Go to the rest-house and join your team member, " a male voice said to me I look at the person and smiled it is Rajat sir who is the owner of our dance institution.

"Yes, my child do what Rajat said do not stress yourself. You should feel happy and let free yourself from any anxiety then you can do it perfectly."

"Ok. Bye sir ... Bye Madam," I said to them and went to the guest room.

The event is arranged in a five-star hotel and it is sponsored by a rich business tycoon and his company will bear all the expenses and I heard that he is the main sponsor in this event and he insisted that this event must be organized in a five-star hotel of the city. Only then he will come and organizers want to please him because he will give us a huge amount which will help the poor.

If it was organized in a theatre hall or an auditorium a lot of money would be saved and that money also could be donated to the poor people, I thought .  

I reached the reception area and there was two receptionist at the desk and I asked one of the receptionist for the key of the room and he informed me that my room mate was already in our room.

Twenty rooms were booked for us in this hotel out of which. 14 for performers, each room was shared by two performers, and five rooms were booked for our teacher and our owner and their family members.

I shared my room with Mili , my good friend. So, I had no problem sharing my room with her.

I thanked the receptionist and went towards my room. 

AARAAV'S POINT OF VIEW -

Today 11.30 A.M. morning I reach Kolkata in my private jet to attend one charitable program, I am not interested to come to Kolkata personally, I do not want to come to India because in this country I have so many memories with Her but I have no choice this time and I have to make the toughest decision of my life to save my dear ones.

"Aaraav, " Aaryaan said to me.

"What?" I asked him.

"Do not worry we will find her. Oracle Diana already told us You will find her here in this city. It is the will of God," Aaryaan said to me.

"Stop this nonsense Aaryaan. You know that I come here only because the elder council insists. And I have left with no choice to protect my dear ones. Only if only Dad did not promise this stupid thing in the past to the elder council then I would not come to India ever," I said to Aaryaan.

"But.. She is your future Bride... You need her." Aaryaan said to me.

I shoot him a death glare and said "She is nothing to me. If I have any other choice to save Athena I will never agree to their stupid decision."

"Please stop pestering me. I will never accept her as my bride, I only come here so that we can find her and we can fulfill the stupid rituals of the elder council," I said to Aaryaan.

We already reached the five-star hotel, where We were staying and the stupid Oracle predicted that I would find my future bride there.

I checked in the hotel, My guards and Aaryaan collected the keys to the room, Aaryaan came with me and handed me the key to my room when I reached in front of my private suit and our luggage were alredy delivered to our respective rooms by the hotel staff. Aaryaan said goodbye to me and went to his room and before leaving my room he informed me that he would wait for me in the dining area for lunch. 

I went inside my room and checked the room, the room is an okay type for me. My bedroom in Demon Castle is a lot larger than this and provided me a lot of luxury than this even my room in the U.S.A where I stayed as a human on the earth is a lot better than this I thought to myself. I took a quick shower and got ready quickly and after dried up myself with a towel, I wore a fiery red t-shirt and black jeans and looked at my view in the mirror. I looked handsome I thought to myself and went towards the dining area to have a quick lunch. 

"You are in time," Aryaan said to me when I reached the dining area.

"I want to avail room service and want to have my lunch in my room," I said to Aaryaan.

"Then how You will find her? If you do not come out from your room," Aaryaan said to me.

I did not bother to give him an answer and took a seat at a corner table 

Aaryaan also took a seat at the same table and sat opposite my chair. We sat face to face. My other guards also took their seats at  different tables and the performers and the organizers also started to come inside the dining area already and took their respective seats. I know that some of them were dying to talk with me but I did not want to talk to them now, Iwill talk to them after the event.

Then I smelled a soothing smell of strawberry, the smell was mouth-watering, I looked very carefully in the room who ate such kind of sweet strawberry I thought to myself. I wanted some for me it was mouthwatering.

"Aaryaan . Order the waiter to bring some strawberries for me. I will take it for my lunch," I said to Aaryaan.

Aaryaan gave me a confused look, and asked "Strawberry?? You want strawberries for lunch. But why??"

"The smell of the strawberry is so good. Can't you smell it?" I snapped at him.

"Strawberry... There is no smell of strawberry. What are You saying?" Aaryaan said to me.

I did not give him any answer and exactly at this moment a waitress approached us at our table and asked us "What  do you want to have for lunch sir?" she asked us politely.

"Give me two plates of strawberry and ask him what he wants for his lunch?" I answered her quickly.

"Only strawberries for you sir ??." the waitress asked me with a confusing tone.

"Yes and make sure it should have the same amazing smell which you served  to the other table today," I said to her.

"But Sir, we did not serve any strawberry to any of our guest today in this dining room sir," She said to me in a confusing voice.

"What ?" I asked her.

"Will You give us five minutes please?" Aaryaan asked the waiter.

"Yes Sir. I will be back after five minutes." She said and quickly left the place.

"You smell the strawberry. But there is no strawberry smell nearby. You know I am also Demon I will smell it even if it is too far but I can't smell anything," Aaryaan said to me.

I gave him a what the hell look and said to him. " What the f**k Aaryaan... Why you are mentioning openly that we are demons."

"No one is nearby ," Aaryaan informed me quickly, then his eyes widened as if he realized something...

"Your Bride is here, " Aaryaan said to me and he added again "that's why you can smell her."

I realized that, yes, Aryaan was right when my demon side wake up for the first time 70 years ago and after that when I met her I did smell her. She smelled like a rose. My sweet love. But before that, my other side could not smell her. 

I am a hybrid but my other side can't have any kind of bond or smelling power to find my soul mate. That's why we could choose our soulmate or life partner according to our will, like humans.

But Demons have a mate bond concept and they find their soulmate by this stupid smell concept. 

I looked at the front door of the dining hall and there I saw a girl with an almost angelic face, fair skin tone, black eyes, and soft pink lips with barely 5 ft. 2-inch height, she was standing there and waiting for someone. 

My demon side identified her as a mate but my other side paid no attention to her and my demon side was also not very excited to see her. 

I am a hybrid but not like werewolves I do not have any other one in my head and both of my other halves do not have any separate identity. I can transform into both my Demon and Other form but both of the transformations are controlled by me. Demons do not have any human side, we just have different looks, demon look, and human look but in both looks we are demons and we have powers. And my other side can also transform into a human look and as well as my other look and in both looks I have powers. As because I am hybrid both my human looks are almost similar, the same face, same body only some physical features will change depending on which side is in control, and my demon and my other side both are controlled by me. 

"Is she your Bride?" Aaryaan asked me.

I looked at him, probably I was staring at her for too long .... "Yes," I said to him.

The waitress came back after ten minutes, I was already annoyed enough by finding her I thought that Diana would be wrong this time, but now she was right as always and I found her!1 I felt angry and looked at the waitress "You said you will come back after five minutes and you came back after ten minutes... what is this nonsense?? Will you explain?" I demanded.

"Asked Your manager. I want some clarification," I asked her.

I saw fear on her face and I felt good. I loved that when people feared me.

 I am Demon lord people should fear me.

"I am sorry sir.".. she started to apologize." Please do not call my Manager," She added again.

"Do as what I said," I snapped at her.

Within few minutes manager came to our table and I said to him "Suspend this staff of yours.. she does not know the time management. If she continues the service I am sure you will lose your future customer."

 I am a business tycoon in human world and lot of my staffs and employees stays in this hotel for business purpose and I am sure they can not afford that.

The waitress was almost on the verge of tears but I did not care. There were very few people in this universe for Whom I actually care and certainly this human waitress is not in the list.

Before the manager could say anything to her, we heard an angelic voice, "Excuse me," I looked at the source of the voice and found that it was her voice and she was looking at us and her eyes throw dagger towards me.

I felt offended immediately no one dare to give that look to me before but I found it was funny also because a mere human girl gave me that look to a Hybrid King. She does not know that I could kill her in a second if I wanted to do that.

"Yes miss," the manager addressed her.

"I said Sonia to bring some hot drinking water to our room. she is busy attending to my call in the kitchen. Probably that's why she is late," The girl said to the Manager.

"I am sorry," She added again.

"Are You late because of this Sonia?" The Manager asked the waitress.

I saw the clear confusion on the face of the waitress. I saw the girl winked at Sonia and the waitress viz, Sonia immediately said " Yes sir."

I cursed under my breath I knew very clearly that this girl was standing at the front door of the dining hall for more than 10 minutes but I could not say that because then I had to admit that I was checking out the girl for 10 minutes. My guards were here and they were all supernatural creatures, most of them were demons and some were other supernatural beings and all had super hearing power. I did not want to spill the information and Aryaan was also sitting in front of me and he already started to give me a grinning expression. I did not want to add more. But I hated that girl now, even more, she was maybe my future bride but I hate liars.

"Sir, I hope You get your clarification and I hope that You are satisfied with it sir. Kindly accept our apology and please I request You to give her another chance," the Manager requested me politely.

"Ok. But who is She?" I pointed at the liar.

"She is one of the performer in the event," the Manager informed me.

"Oh. You may leave and please send another waiter for our table to take the order and this is the last time I am accepting this kind of behavior," I said to the manager.

"Yes sir," He said and left and Sonia also followed him quickly.

The girl also spun around and was about to start walking in another direction of the dining room.

"Stop," I said to her. 

She again spun around and facing me and pointed a finger to herself and said "Are you asking me?". 

"I am not asking... I am ordering," I said to her.

"Oh. Sorry to burst Your bubble You do not owe me anything so You can't order me," She spat.

"I am the Sponsor," I said rudely.

"So what? This is a charitable event. I am not earning any money here. You are sponsoring the Organizers for the benefit of the people. So let me remind You again that You do not owe me anything," She said again with the same rudeness as mine and before I could say anything to her again. someone intervene in our conversation.

"Rihana. You did not wait," I look at the voice who said that and found that it was a man probably in his 22-23 years age.

"Stop it. I already waited for more than enough time.," She said that and playfully hit the shoulder of the man.

I did not know why but I felt that my blood started to boil.

"Okay, let's go," the man pulls her by her wrist towards an empty table.

I stand up from the table and immediately left the room. I did not want to do something bad to this man. There were a lot of humans present in this dining room it would blow our cover. We supernatural beings did not mingle with the affairs of the human.

"Hey. We did not eat anything," Aaryaan said to me.

"Send my lunch to my room," I said to him and immediately left the room.

Rihana's point of view -

I went to the room after talking to the receptionist and knock the door two times. As usual, overexcited Mili opened the door and immediately pull me into the room, and said, "Rihu Baby... See the room."

"Yeah it is good," I said to her.

"Good... It is dream come true," Mili screamed in excitement.

"Oh. Mili. stop screaming," I said to her.

I understood her reason for joy. We belong to a middle-class family and staying in a five-star hotel is a big thing but I am not after luxury. Even I did not want to stay in this hotel if Mili did not insist me to do so. She wanted to have this experience and it was a good opportunity.

"Rihu baby. get ready then we will go to the dining room to have our lunch," Mili said.

"Okay, " I said to her and quickly opened the bag and took my undergarments and one long skirt and matching top to pair it up with the skirt, and quickly went to the shower, I clean myself properly, pat dry myself with a towel, then put the underwear and then put the skirt, top and look my image in the mirror and I was satisfied. I opened the door of the washroom and walk towards the dressing table where my make-up pouch is already there and I put on some kajal and some lip - gloss and I was ready for lunch.

Mili and I left the room and locked it with the key.

"Rihu baby umm... umm,.." Mili said.

"Now what Mili?" I asked her.

" Will you please wait for us," She said to me.

"Us?" I asked her innocently. 

I knew that she was talking about Akash, his boyfriend. Akash was just two years older than me and a good friend of mine. Mili started to date her one year ago.

"You know what I mean," She replied to me with a huff.

"Yeah, yeah.. but what about his roommate?" I narrowed my eyes at her.

"He had already went to the dining room. Akash is waiting for me in his room," she said to me.

"Be careful," I said to her and winked at her, she blushed immediately.

I rolled my eyes and said to her " I will wait for both of you at the front door of the dining room. Please come fast."

"We will be there within fifteen minutes," She said to me.

"Ok, quick," I joked at her.

"Stop it... Rihu... It is not like what you meant.. we just...," Mili said.

I just raised my hand and stop her "Not interested... I was just joking. Come fast." and I left her in front of Akash's room and started to walk towards the dining room. 

I was waiting in front of the dining room for about 10 minutes for them but suddenly I looked at the room and in a corner there was a table where two men were seated there and I identify the waitress who was standing near the table she was almost in the verge of tears that waitress helped me in the morning to find my room and then I came to know that she also loved dancing but she was forced to leave dancing and she chose this job  to support her family. I moved fast towards the table and the jerk was trying to suspend the poor waitress for being late just for five minutes. What a monster I thought to myself.

I intervened in their conversation and convinced the manager somehow. This arrogant monster did not object again. 

But he dared to bully me and I showed him his place and then Akash came and joined me and pulled me towards an empty table and we sat there.

"Hey. Where is Mili?" I asked him.

"Her periods starts," He said to me.

"what? " I asked him."

"It comes early this month," Akash said to me.

"Awww.. so you can't fulfill your adventure ..," I joked at him.

"Stop it," Akash said to me in an annoyed voice.

"Rihu Baby. why are you teasing my boyfriend?" Mili asked me and joined our table.

"Ok. OK. I surrender," I said to them.

Sonia came to our table to take our order and after taking the order she thanked me.

Mili demanded what was the story and I briefed the incident.

"Rihu. You know that he is our Sponsor and Rajat sir will not be happy when he will find out this," Mili said to me in a concerned tone.

"I do not care. I will always help them whoever needs it," I said to Mili.

"It's ok. girls let's eat," Akash said to us.

Food came to our table already and we started to dig in the food.
