I stood up on the mountain in front of my home, staring down at them as they gathered around the burning fire, charting, laughing and toasting marshmallows like nothing was wrong. Like it was absolutely normal for them to be visiting their so called Alpha in the middle of nowhere after years and years of him being absent and presumed dead.
