My Heart

~Louis’s POV~ “What do you mean she collapsed?” Michelle did hurt her badly, but the blood loss wasn’t so much that she would have collapsed. She endured it way better than most of our prisoners. She is a freaking hybrid who has the strength of two species in her. I am sure she would have healed in a couple of seconds after we left. “I think your identity was a shocker for her,” Adrian shrugged. My identity? "What do you mean?" Dorian hummed in agreement, “She didn’t think she was being ruined by the vampire prince himself.” I want to believe them, but I didn’t think it was the reason. She has strong connections with royals, so royalty could not be the reason. She played with royalties in her childhood, she stayed with them for countless days; she couldn’t be scared of one. She didn’t faint because I was royalty and she was scared of me, but… “Was there anything else that you noticed?” I asked. Dorian nodded, “Yeah, she looked at us, dumbfounded when she got to know about our mother.” “We even gave her a tip to surrender if she wants to die easily,” Adrian smirked. Yeah, Michelle is just like me. If she doesn’t get what she wants, she will make even death feel like mercy. But I don’t think Aliyah will give up. She has a family of strong females, and there was no way she would lead them down. I was impressed when she didn’t give satisfaction to Michelle’s ears and swallowed all the pain she was giving her. Though… Standing close to her and seeing her in pain did twitch a nerve in my heart, but I made sure not to let it affect me. Uh… What? My heart? Yeah… It was… I never felt my heart beating or giving me feelings. Ever since I had my first kill, my heart stopped beating. It never felt alive. The only moment I felt a warm feeling in my chest was when I held Dorian and Adrian for the first time. And after that, it was gone. Again. The moment I tasted human blood, my heart was dead for real. But today, I felt something happening in there. An unknown feeling that was never there before, that I never found anywhere in my body before. Something that was making me feel emotions that I never wanted to feel in my life. Michelle's chuckles reached my ears, “I will pull every single nerve of her body slowly and wrap them around her neck, but before that, I will send her... Fingers, then toes, then ribs to her family. I think I will start with her toes first.” “You are evil,” Adrian chuckled. A knot formed in my gut hearing her plans for her, but I chose to ignore it. “You will not do anything. Clark, Hilda, and I will decide her fate,” I announced. And before she goes to Clark and Hilda with these ideas, I have to reject her fast and make sure nobody ever finds out about the cursed bond that we share. “Am I different from you?” Michelle asked and wrapped her arms around my neck. Adrian and Dorian left, knowing that standing here would make them disgusted, and I shook my head and pulled her in for a kiss, “Only when it comes to my empire’s decision.” ******************** ~Aliyah’s POV~ My world spun. His title didn’t affect me, but his relations… He was the father of two vampires. He freaking had kids with another vampire who was not even his! And they were freaking forty-nine years old already! He had kids with that… b***h… I was never a person who used to curse a lot, but ever since I came here, they changed me inside out. They broke me… Physically, but he… He broke my soul. My heart was aching, throbbing with pain after knowing that he had two sons to call him father already, but that wasn’t enough for him. He wanted to make it worse for me. He wanted his presence, his dead yet as fresh as the forest mint scent that danced on my head like crazy, to destroy my heart, mind, and every single cell in my body. I am sure it was her… I am sure he was screwing Michelle. My mind was already shut, but when I felt my neck burning with immense pain in my heart, I knew he was whoring around with someone. My whole body burned. Starting from my neck to the area between my legs, my whole body trembled, and it felt like someone was toasting me alive. My body kept twitching from the pain, but it was nothing compared to what my heart felt. It wasn’t just breaking, it felt like it was bleeding drop by drop. Like invisible ice picks were stabbing straight into my chest, slow and steady, tearing me apart from the inside. I didn’t know it felt this bad… I heard the pain of being cheated on was difficult to handle, but I never thought I would experience it as well. The feeling and pain of betrayal were too much in my body, that I couldn’t take it. Nor Lizzy and Ellen. This was the first time in these three years when we all blacked out together. None of us was able to stand the pain that tore all three souls apart living in this one body. I am sure that fool didn’t know about the pure bond that werewolves share with their mates. I am sure he didn’t know that he made the biggest mistake of his life by touching me. Even if it was for a few seconds. We understand the reality, emotions, and feelings, but the bond doesn’t. And now, that will keep both of us in pain. Especially me. The door of the room opened, and the vampire who disgusts me walked inside with a smirk on his face. “Ah, finally awake after two days, huh?” He smirked. Two days? I was out for two days? Fuck, this bond will eat me alive. “I heard that we are free to make you bleed now,” He chuckled. Idiot… He wants to break a broken person. But… I took my gaze from the ground to his face and sighed, “Can I make my first and last wish? I know you all will not give me time to make any before killing me every single day.” “You got to know us way too well in just seven days,” He smirked. Seven days? It’s been seven days since I’ve been here? And nobody from my family was able to reach me? How’s that even possible? “They have a witch,” Lizzy said. She is not a witch, she is a b***h. Her insane powers are stopping my family from reaching me. But why couldn’t Aunt Cassie and Claire do anything about it? How? They are the most powerful witches to ever exist in the history of witches! “Tsk tsk…” My attention went back to the vampire standing in front of me, and I swallowed the lump in my throat. It will take a lot of me to even bring those words out of my mouth, but I want him to taste the essence of it. “Will you do me a favour?” He crouched in front of my face, which made his filthy breath fan against my face, and smirked, “As long as it doesn’t include you wanting to talk to your family.” I chuckled, locking my gaze straight into his cocky red eyes, “I know that doesn’t count. Even you and your vampire prince know you won’t win a war against Knights and Blacks.” His jaw tightened, and the playful evilness in his eyes was replaced by a murderous glare. But before he could hit me, I blurted out, “I want you to kiss me.”
