The hunter's daughter

Chapter 7

The dungeon was filled by the rogues. There were about 12 males, in all ages and 3 females that were middle aged. They were skinny and dirty, weak and sick. None of the rogues looked like fighters. Alpha Barron wondered how they had managed to survive and didn't believe they had attacked the pack. He watched the rogues settle into thier cells and relax on thier beds. It was more comfortable for them then camping outside. He stood waiting for Alpha Ashley to be distracted by his guards and then went to talk to them.

"She-wolf, will you talk to me? I promise you won't be hurt, I just want to know who was the leader of the pack?" Alpha

Barron asked her.

"There was no leader, the boy told the truth. Why are we here? We weren't apart

of any attack" the she-wolf told him.

"Then why were you all found on the harvest moon pack lands? Who allowed you to stay there? Alpha Barron wondered.

"The alpha's sister told us to stay there while she snuck other rogues into the pack lands. She told us we would be given permission to join if we didn't tell anyone what she had done" the she-wolf replied.

Alpha Barron knew that the she-wolf had no reason to lie. She had only wanted to join a pack and seeing the Alpha's sister sneak in rogues was a way to get that. He knew there was a reason these rogues had to stay there while the attack happened. They could have been the others alibi or a distraction for the rogues to sneak out again. Either way the Alpha's sister had something to do with it and was she was going to be dealt with.

"Alpha Ashley where is your sister? She is the one behind the attacks, she is the one I wish to speak to" Alpha Barron yelled at him.

Alpha Ashley almost looked relieved, his sister was in trouble and he had managed to keep the other rogues from telling anyone that he was involved too. He mind-linked his guards and had them capture his sister, they brought her down into the cells.

"What's going on? Why am I here, this place is for losers? Why are there so many of them here?" Alyssa yelled while being dragged into the cells.

"Quiet, you belong here. You are the one behind the attacks, these rogues are not fighters. You had them take the blame while you snuck the rogue fighters into the pack lands" Alpha Barron yelled at her.

"No, I had nothing to do with it. They are lying" Alyssa cried fake tears.

"They don't need to lie. They will be given a place in the pack like you promised them. You will tell me how much you paid the rogue fighters to attack Reggie's mate and pup" Alpha Barron demanded.

"Why would I waste money on rogues?They belong here in the dungeons or dead. They are useless and can't make any money. They would bring our pack down. I wouldn't make any deals with them" Alyssa lied.

"Sister, these rogues have told us that you were the one that promised they could stay if you bring in the rogue fighters without anyone noticing them" Alpha Ashley said smugly.

"Liar, you were the one that paid the rogue fighters. You have been using them to attack other packs, I only used them to attack that w***e and her mutt" Alyssa cried.

"You wolf b***h, I don't need to pay any rogues to fight other packs. I have my own guards to help me defend against other packs. You're the one that wanted to attack other packs and even my own pack. You hate Reggie and his mate that much that you were going get them to leave like Reggie's brother too" Alpha Ashley yelled at her.

Alpha Barron had heard enough from both of them.

"Enough, you are both under arrest and I am taking over this pack until the Lycan court can investigate. I am sure they will strip Alpha Ashley of his title and have you both charged with treason. You will either be spending your lives here or be executed. That will depend on how much you confess and are sorry for your actions" Alpha Barron told them.

"I can't be sorry when I did nothing wrong. It was all her fault, she insisted on paying rogue fighters to attack other packs and she wanted Reggie and his mate dead" Alpha Ashley lied.

"You are her brother and Alpha and couldn't say no to her. You couldn't stop her when she went behind your back and attacked Reggie's mate and pup. You couldn't investigate the rogues in the forest on your pack lands. I find all this doubtful. If I find you are involved you are going to be stripped of your title. You better come up with a better excuse than your sister to save your neck from the chopping block" Alpha Barron warned him.

Alpha Ashley looked at him sadly. He knew he was guilty and was going to be charged with treason. Both him and his sister were put into the cells. The rogues were sent to the omegas rooms until they had their own place in the pack. Alpha Barron had to now inform the Lycan council about what had happened and look for the rogue fighters.
