I just remain quiet "Come on tori, his gone for good, he hurt you now is time for you to move on, show him you don't care" I answer with a soft tone "But I do care" She just gives me a sad look, I guess she feels sorry for me, then she walks away again Alex was my first everything, I loved him with everything, one day he just said he needed a break, and like a fool, I waited for him, didn't even go to prom with anyone cause I didn't want anyone but him, then one day I saw him kissing another girl, my best friend Kelly, she, Anna and I were really close. when I went to confront him, I couldn't say anything, words didn't come out, instead, he introduced her as his girlfriend. She knew how much I liked him, she knew what he meant to me, and he just made me wait like an i***t, I was so heartbroken to worsen it, kelly always tags me to every post of the two of them on social media She's always rubbing her success at my face, sure she has a fashion bouquet that's doing well, I can't even imagine that she was once a friend My phone rings  My mum's calling "Hello, mum? " "Hi honey, are you still at work? " "Yes, do you need anything? " "When you're done, I have something to tell you" "Okay no problem then, I'll see you later" *Call ended "I wonder what she wants to tell me that couldn't be discussed over the phone" ____________________I was done with my shift by 7pm,so I took the bus home . reaching home, I immediately rush to my mum's room, she was lying on the bed her skin was looking pale The sight of her made tears gather, it felt like am losing her, I wish there was more I could do My mum noticed my present "Victoria you're back" she smiles at me I immediately use my hands to clean the tears off my face, I walk towards her and sit on the bed  "Victoria are you okay?" I force a smile and nod "Yes I am" she touches my blonde hair  "You're working so hard to take care of me " "Of course you're my mum, I have to take care of you" "You're such a gift Victoria " I hold my mum's arm "You'll be okay soon  mum, just hang in there" she smiles at me again "I know" her facial expression changed"There's something I need to let you know " "What's that mum " "You've always wanted to know who your real father is right?" "Of course, more than anything " She begins to sob "I didn't mean to keep it from you, I was just trying to protect you-" she begins to cry "Mum please don't cry, what is it?" she lets out a sigh "Please don't hate me " "I could never hate you" "About twenty years ago, there was an accident, and I happened to pass by that night, It was queen Miranda, she was unconscious and in her arms, there was a baby, the baby didn't stop crying, so I carried the child, the queen held my hand, and tried her best to speak, She said I should please take care of the baby, those were her last words. So I took the baby with me, I went to the palace the next day to return the child to the king, but the guards didn't let me in, they called me many names that I was just looking for easy money, they spat at me called me a liar, that the queen and the baby were already confirmed dead.
