The king and I were sited opposite each other, I felt so awkward especially after all the crying

'' you must be mad at me huh?'' I didn't say anything, just tried not to make eye contact, he sighs ''you must be wondering why I didn't come to find you, you must have been wanting to know who your real father is-'

'' why did you just accept the fact I was dead, why didn't you look for me, I always believed my real dad was dead or my mum got drunk and had me that's why she never talked about him, I mean I would never have guessed is you, your highness'

'' I understand, and you have every right to be mad at me, The truth is, the night the queen was found dead, my former general and advisor had told me that you and the queen had died, and I believed them, which was a very big mistake, we did the queen and your funeral I didn't dare look at the casket I forbid everyone from doing so as well I just couldn't bear the fact that you were gone and your mother as well, no one dared spoke about you or your mother in front of me. I didn't even know there was a woman who tried reaching out to me, trying to tell me that you were alive, everyone kept it away from me, well except steve he was the only one brave enough to tell me what was going on

at first, when he mentioned your name, I got really angry and told him never to mention anything about it ever again, he kept trying to convince me so I made a deal with him, we would see to it but if its a scam he was going to take the responsibility, so he did. we decided to do it in secret without the captain or my advisor knowing

the lady, your mum brought a sample of your DNA and I did the same we took a test and we found out it was true I was so happy, she showed me pictures of you, the pictures alone would have convinced me, cause you look just like your real mum, and as for the Captain and Advisor they are both in jail so is every other person that was involved in keeping the truth from me

'' But why did they do that?''

''I really don't know, they never gave an answer no matter the threats and torture, they are ready to die keeping the truth''

'' wow '' he smiles at me and holds my hand

'' everything's fine now, you're finally home, you're finally back to me, my long lost baby girl''

I wore an awkward smile on my face, I still couldn't believe all this, it still feels like some joke

suddenly the doors burst open, a tall pretty lady with long black hair wearing red lipstick walks in with almost an equally handsome tall black-haired guy

''daddy you called for us'' she says walking towards us

The king clears his throat before he spoke ''ah, yes I want to introduce you to your sister,  victoria''

I immediately stand up and bow to them, they both stare at me shocked

''victoria these are your siblings, Madison and Mason ''

I stammer and awkwardly wave at them ''h-hello''

Mason replies me instantly ''hello'' he smiles at me

Madison just kept starring at me with fright 

''you look familiar by the way, have we met?'' Mason ask

''uhmm I don't think so-'' he jumps in

''Yes you're that girl with the scary friend that tried fighting her way to the red carpet so I would notice her during that movie premiere, she even managed to get into the restroom I was using '' he starts laughing

shit s**t s**t, I remember that day, we both got banned from the movies, our faces are in the signboard with big red Xs saying do not let them in. even being her friend is embarrassing, I wish the ground could swallow me up right now

he chuckles ''yeah I never go out in public because of her, I've blocked her more than 30times on IG,@futureMrsMason, that girl is like a first-class stalker, who would have ever guessed she would be friends with my long lost sister''

''am really sorry, I've warned Anna so many times to quit the obsession but shes just crazy, for you''

he laughs '' who isn't '' he winks at me. The king just smiled at the two of us, he faces Madison

''arent you going to say hello to her''

madison walks around me like she was studying me, she forcefully grabs my face, and studies it ''this isn't my sister''

The king and Mason chorus at the same time '' What!''

okay I feel uneasy 

''I said that's not my sister, this peasant girl isn't her'' the king response ''enough'' she continues ''my sister died with my mother 20 years ago, if you guys want to belive this low life excuse of a-''

''Enough!!'' the king exclaimed "get out, now!'' she glares at The king and then at me, then she runs out 

the king turns to me '' am really sorry victoria, she just isn't really good at showing her emotions ''

''its okay, your highness but I must go now, is getting late''

''go where?''

"home, my mum must be getting worried''

"This is your home now victoria, your mum already knows you're here, that's why we finally decided she should break the news to you yesterday''

''What! wait, how long exactly have you know I was alive?''

''about 2years ''

is he for reals right now ''why did you decide to break the news to me now?''

''I had to take care of a few things, I needed to know why they did that to you and your mother''I remained silent''I promise you I'll get to the bottom of this, in the meantime why don't you get yourself comfortable''

huh? what does he mean by that, I hope he isn't expecting me to stay here '' uhmm your highness, I don't think I can stay here, I can't leave my mum all alone, shes very sick''

''what do you mean by that?''

''well, I've been working extra shift so that I can have enough money for the operation, she needs heart surgery''

''wow that must be tough for you'' Mason said

the king gasp ''well, you don't have to worry about that anymore''

''What are you saying-'' he jumps in

''am saying, I would take care of everything, I owe your mum a lot you know, so you don'need to worry'' 

words can't express the happiness I feel right now '' oh thank you so much your highness, I'll call my mum right now to tell her the good news'' I take my phone from my Apron pocket and dialled her number

''Hello, mum?'' it wasn't my mum's voice, my heart began to beat fast, I held my chest, my phone slowly falls from my hand, tears roll down my cheeks
