''victoria what's wrong!!!'' the king exclaimed 

I whimper ''my-my mum shes, she collapsed and was rushed to the hospital'' the king yells

''steve!''  steve immediately comes in

''yes your highness''

''prepare the car, we're leaving for the hospital now''

_____ we arrived at the hospital, guards surround us to protect us from people and the media, I can hear my heartbeat as I run down the hallway, sweat gathered and moving slowly on my forehead

I rush to the room I was told my mum was in, I see her with her pale skin unconscious on the bed with drips and all matter of things on her body

''mum?'' I mutter, I run to her, and begin to cry ''oh mum am so sorry, this is all my fault'' the doctor clears his throat to get my attention, I turn to him

''sorry miss but if your mum doesn't get the operation now, there's nothing else we can do'' I was about to speak when the king interrupts me

''I'll take care of it, just tell me the bills and everything'' the doctor was surprised by the kings presence he stanmers

''ye-yes your majesty, please follow me''  the doctor leads the king to his office, leaving me alone with Mason and my mum

''so this is your mum huh?'' he says walking towards me

''Yeah, she's the one who took care of me''

''am really sorry victoria''

''yeah, thanks'' The doors burst open, it was Anna,i immediately rush in her arms, she gives me a hug and I pour my heart out ''It's my fault Anna I would've stayed home, I never should've left''

she Pats me on my back ''it's okay, it's fine, you're lucky my dad went to your place and saw her, imagine no one came around'' I cry even more ''no no no, it's okay, am sorry, me and my big mouth'' we both separate from the hug ''why didn't you tell us your mum needed surgery, we could've helped''

''I know, but you guys already do so much for us, I thought I could do it myself''

''aww, poor stupid you, what were you thinking we are like family it doesn't mean anything, my dad wasn't happy when he found out that's for sure''

''am sorry, is okay we would take care of everything''

''you really don't have to ''

''victoria could you not be stubborn for-''

''I mean it, the kind is taking care of it''

''wait, the king? his highness '' I nod yes and smile ''oh s**t''

''Yeah, see there's Mason'' she turns to him, he awkwardly waves at her

''hey, stalker girl'' before I knew it Anna faints

________ Anna slowly opens her eyes and hold the top of her head ''w-what happened, where am I?" I assist her as she sits up

''well you're at the hospital, in a hospital bed''

''why am I in the hospital bed?''

''what do you think after fainting in the hospital, you're a patient now''

''what, i-i, wait wheres Manson'' I roll my eyes at her

''he's gone back home''

''What!'' she begins to cry '' I didn't even get a chance to meet him''

''are you crying? come on get a hold of yourself''

she uses her hands to clean her tears ''why aren't you with your mum?''

I let out a sigh ''shes in the theatre ''

''they're operating already?''

''yeah..they are, am so scared'' she hugs me 

''honey, everything would be fine, okay, but I have one question''

''what's that?''

''Why are they here?'' she says referring to the guards everywhere 

I giggle'' they are to protect me from people and paparazzi and all that''

''look at you, already having 50body guards and hot ones for that matter'' she raises her both eyebrow continuously 

''you're silly''

''am just stating the facts princess victoria''

''shut up am not a princess''

''well duh... you are now, omg imagine how popular I'll get when  people see my IG pictures of the both of us, my i********: followers would increase overnight when you get announced''

''you only think of how me being a princess would benefit you''

''well duh.. who wouldn't, of course, you'll get a lot I don't have to state your benefits'' I hit her a little and we both began to laugh.

I was glad Anna was with me, she kept me company and tried to make me laugh in every possible way she could, but I couldn't still help but worry, I don't want to lose my mum, I don't care if she isn't my birth mum, she's the one that took care of me with everything she'll forever be in my heart.

_________its been 6 hours, and it's already 3 am, I couldn't shut my eyes, Ana was already asleep on her hospital bed, and I was sitting next to her, the king enters the room, I immediately stand 

''your highness?'' he groans 

''cant sleep'' he sits next to me, Anna begins to snore so loud, and her mouth was completely open. the king and I both laugh

''my mum would be okay right?''

'' of course, have a little faith'' I begin to sob

''This is all my fault, I put pride before her health'' he puts her hand on my shoulder

''come on, don't say that, everything's been taken care of now. by the way, don't you have uncles or grandparents, cousins ?''I nod No

'' my mum was an orphan, and she never got married, am all she has''

''wow'' i continue

'' that's another reason why I can't possibly live in the palace, I can't leave her all by herself''  the king was dumbfounded, I let out a sigh '' funny how today was going to be the best day, I found my real dad and his the freaking king'' he smiles '' but then my mum-'' the king rest my head on his shoulders and began to slowly tap my back

A nurse burst into the room '' your highness'' she was breathing fast, with sweat all over her

''well, what is it!'' he exclaimed

''the-the patient, she's, she's''

the sound of my heartbeat was all I could hear, I instantly fall on the ground
