huh?, how did I get here?. I stand up from bed. and why am I in fancy lace nightwear?

''princess are you alright?'' the maid says with a smile

''uhmm yes, but how-''

''ah yes, you were brought in last night, the king couldn't wait for this morning, and you were so sound asleep I didn't want to wake you so I changed you'' 

''you guys did all that while I was asleep, and I didn't even blink an eye'' she nods yes excitedly, I have to admit they're good. well I guess that means mum must be home, guess is just me here, I'll make sure to give her a call later

''princess you must have your bath now, breakfast is 8 am sharp'' she takes my hand and drags me all the way to the bathroom, and wow it's so pretty, the bathtub and shower are so cool, I've only seen this kind in movies, and there's even a jacuzzi 

''Wow, it's huge'' she giggles

''of course, one that suites a royal-like you''

''what's your name?'' She giggles 

''oh mind my manners, your highness, my name is Laurel, your handmaid''

'' oh, uhmm nice to meet you''

'' now princess, take off your clothes'' is she for reals right now

''uhmm not when you're here'' she giggles again

''how else are you going to bath?''

'' I can bath myself thank you''

''Really, you sure you don't need help''

''am good''

''Okay then I'll just go pick out your dress'' she turns to leave, then I hear the door shut close, I let out a sigh

I take off my clothes and get in the shower, I see a lot of buttons, but which is the hot water? I decided to just go with anything, I press the first button and s**t! that's so cold. I begin to press other buttons, and it wasn't funny

________ I come out of the shower, and I looked like someone who drowned 

''princes-'' she stops and looks at me from head to toe '' what happened?''

''let's not talk about this, ever'' she nods awkwardly 

''here's your outfit, I'll wait for you outside'' she leaves me alone, I see the simple pretty pink dress on my bed

I look at myself in the mirror just as I finish using the blow dryer, I pack my hair to a ponytail and wear a little scarf and tied it in a bow, okay victoria lets do this, no backing away

I try to walk confident, I open the door and see laurel 

''ready princess?'' I gave her a nod '' follow me then''

I follow her as she led me to the dining table, I see the king, Mason, and Madison and mum? oh my God is mum, I rush over and gave her a hug and she does the same

''I thought you weren't coming''

''now how could I ever leave you alone'' the king clears his throat to get my attention

''good morning your highness, Madison, Mason'' Madison just rolls her eyes, Mason smiles at me so does the king

''morning victoria, have a sit'' I sit next to my mum, the table was full that's for sure, I didn't even know where to start from

''arent you going to eat victoria?'' the king says looking at me

''uhmm, yeah''  my eyes scan the table, I think I'll just have french toast, I take those on my plate, and I'll spread jam on it, I take the jam, and maybe tea? I was about taking the teapot when a maid assist me

the king begins to speak ''am so happy, we are finally complete, my long lost daughter is finally here, we shall make the announcement at the grande ball next week Monday''

madison hits the table that caught all of us by surprise '' daddy, don't you think is too soon, we aren't even sure about her''

the king-hits his hand on the table this time ''Madison, that's enough I don't want to hear another word'' she glares at me, and leave the table

my mum and I share a look

________ breakfast didn't go so well, but it was yummy though, I was back to my room, after escorting my mum to hers, she needed to rest she hasn't completely recovered yet

I take my phone and dial Annas's number

**hello?''

''tori!! am so happy you called, so tell me how is it, do you love it there, when do you think I can visit?''

"Woah Woah, too many questions''

''okay am sorry'' she lets out a sigh, which made me giggle ''am calm now''

''I've only had breakfast so far, oh and my room is so amazing!''

''oh really, let me see''

''okay'' I switch to video call and showed her around

''Wow, it's really cool''

''look my room has a balcony, and you can see the whole kingdom from here'' I suddenly hear a knock on my door ''who it's!''

''it's Mason, can I come in?''

*"omg did I just hear its mason. Victoria, show me, show me, show-'' I end the call

''yes you can'' he enters and  smiles at me, wow they smile a lot around here

''want to see around?"

''yes I'll love that'' I said excitedly

_____ Mason was really nice, he gave me a tour around and introduced me to the maids and guards, unlike his sister who hates me, like they say twin with the opposite gender got opposite attitude, okay no one says that but my logic might be precise 

'' And here is the halls where royal balls or any other ceremony are held''

''Wow, is huge'' he laughs 

''yeah very, so hope you'll feel at home''

 Yeah, I have a question though''

"Sure what is it? you can ask anything''

''uhmm okay, why does Madison hate me?''

he laughs awkwardly ''she doesn't hate you''

''I know she does, shes always glaring at me and saying am fooling everyone''

''well....'' he gasp ''okay look when you and mum were assumed dead, we were 3years old, and Madison had to grow up without a mum or sister, she was the only girl, dad was kind of cold for a while after it happened, and it was like just Madison and me, she cries during mum and your remembrance, even up to this day, sure were so young when it happened, but it really hurt her, maybe she just scared ''

''am really sorry"

''it's okay, dad says you're being haunted'' he laughs ''are you a vampire that you're being haunted?''

''beats me, I wonder what's so special about me that they had to kill the queen''

''hmmm, whatever reason it is, I'm sure Dad would find it soon''

''I hope so too, but I have to admit sometimes I get scared that I might not be the real princess'' he thinks for a minute
