“Nathaniel,” I whined and grasped at my arm. I let my knees buckle and fell to the ground. As predicted, the demon brothers began to advance towards me. My eyes pleaded with Nathaniel to help me. He had put me in this predicament. I needed to clear the room and find the ring before Lilith got here. The demons came closer. A few more feet and they would be within striking distance.
