Shortly after taking off from the packhouse, I got an excruciating pain inside of my chest. I was starting to wonder if this is what a heart attack felt like. It stung like a thousand bee stings, add that with the feeling like it was stabbed and ripped out as well. I fell from the abrupt pain, flipping over multiple times. The other wolves immediately formed a defensive circle, placing me in the center, thinking I was just attacked from a distance. Bolt started whimpering and yelping.
“Are you alright?” My dad asked. “What happened?” His wolf rushed over toward me, nudging Bolt’s face with his snout.
“I…I don’t know. I think I’m having a heart attack.”
