After the girls fell back asleep and the Dr finished up, I was finally able to fall into a deep sleep.
“Hey Gage, how are your mates’ doing?” Hunter linked, waking me up.
“They’re in bad shape, but they should be okay in the next couple of days. The Dr wants to keep them here for another day or two. How’s Ari doing? They were asking about her.” I replied groggily.
“Mentally and emotionally, she’s doing much better than I thought she would. Physically, she is sore and has bruises, but should be healed in a day or so.
