Chapter 5

Next Morning

Sahay Mansion

Neeli woke up early in the morning and got ready in jogger suit looking beautiful with slender figure in simple blue tight track pant, blue sports bra and white jacket and went for jogging towards a park near by her house.

She hardly took 2 rounds and was taking 3rd round when she saw Sameer is entering in the same park in black tight t-shirt and black track pant with ear phones in ears, looking extremely hot and dashing with reveling bicep and fitted abs silky hairs were struck on forehead because of sweat, girls in park who were waiting just for his one glace started drooling over him.

He entered in park and started jogging, Neeli saw him and mumbles "Oh no not again" and was about to avoid him but suddenly something strikes in her mind and her face light up by her plan.

 "It's good he is here, now I can show this Fastidious i***t what this Neeli is?" She spoke to herself with naughty smile on her pink lips.

While making plan to tease him she ran towards Sameer, Sameer saw Neeli is coming from opposite direction and mumbles "God knows whose face I saw first after waking up, my whole day is going to ruin now".

Meera heard this and said "I think you saw mirror after waking up" Meera taunt him and started running by his side just to irritate him.

Sameer won't be able to hear her because of ear phones and his handsome face again changed in frown seeing her running with him…"What?" Sameer turned his face towards her and asked being irritate.

Neeli instantly took out his ear phones from one ear and spoke in little louder voice "I am saying good morning Mr. Fastidious i***t, how are you?"

As like yesterday" Sameer become irritate because of her and replied rudely.

"Yes, I can see not at all improvement" Neeli said in a naughty way.

"What do you mean?" Sameer asked with frown.

"I mean still same rude manner less, not even wished me back, Mr. do you have some problem?" She replied in teasing way.

She put tip of her index finger on side of his forehead and twirl it as showing him mad, his smart face which was already frowned seeing her turned in to angry one by her joke and before he could say or reply anything Neeli spoke again “By the way why I am seeing you first time in this park during jogging".

"That is because till 4 years you were in abroad and just yesterday you came back, forgot?" Sameer replied in a taunting way.

"Oh yah, but why haven't I saw you before 4 years, that time too I was regular in this park?" Neeli again asked unwanted question just to bother you.

"Because before that I was in abroad for studies" Sameer replied being fret from her irrelevant blabber.

"Oh wow, you studied that’s terrific, by the way what did you studied?" Neeli shoot another question.

“MBA" Sameer was pissed off by her behavior but can't help it replied rudely.

"Wow me too, same pinch” Meera said with her all-time charming smile and pinch his arm hardly.

That was too much for Sameer who despite rich, handsome and good looking always distant from girls, he jerks her hand -"Hey you, modern doll be in your limits".

"Ok ok cool down Mr. Fastidious i***t aka touch me not leaf, well isi baat pe ek sher arz hai 'janwar darta aadmi se aur aadmi darta kadki se (2), par Mr. i***t Bajaj darte Neeli jaisi cute larki se' (well a poetry on this 'animal sacred on man and man scared of poverty, (2) but Mr. Bajaj scared of Neeli who is very sweet, little cutie') thank you, thank you" Neeli continued her nonsense blabber  to teased him badly.

"You miss Neeli, stop testing my patience" Sameer’s temper was rising slowly, his white flawless face turned red in controlling anger.

"What was the need of test, I am sure the result will be fail only” Looks like Neeli didn’t going to back off.

“By the way shall I ask you one question?" Before Sameer scold or say anything Neeli shoot another question.

"What?" Sameer asked being fret.

"Why are you like this?" Neeli asked naughtily but tried to maintain serious face.

"Like what?"

"Like you filled your name in your mouth Sameer means air and you filled it in your mouth like a balloon” The beautiful gorgeous she is from looks thousand times smarter and naughtier.

Sameer didn't understand her words and she instantly bid adieu to escape from his unexpected mood which can turned in angrier one from her teasing anytime “Ok bye Mr. Bajaj my jogging is over thanks a lot for your wonderful and happening company".

She ran from there hurriedly after taunting him and Sameer fumes in anger getting her meaning what just she said about his name but shook his head and continued his jogging super bad temper.

After some times in SM

Neeli's room.

Neeli was getting ready when Riya entered in her room with coffee in her hand and saw her humming a song looking happy.

"Neeli your coffee" Riya called her.

"Thanks, Riyu, mother India sent you right?" Neeli asked and Riya just nod her head.

"Neeli let it be dear, now keep all this tension aside, you came back home after 4 yrs. let us enjoy this moment" Riya said and Neeli nod.

"Riyu don't worry yesterday babe already took my class" Neeli saw tension on Riya’s face for her.

"Thank God" Riya said dramatically.

"Don't worry I will not repeat it again and not even get married; I have decided what I have to do now" Neeli said while thinking something.

Riyu shook her head thinking she will not change -"Ok tell me why are you so much happy early morning?" Riya asked casually.

"It's a secret Riyu darling, don't tell anyone, today I took my revenge with that Fastidious i***t" Neeli whispered in her ear making her tense again.

"Neeli what you did?" Riya asked sternly knowing her sister’s mischievous nature.

"Oh god do you have short term memory loss problem, just now I said it’s a secret" Neeli smartly and indirectly denied to tell her.

Riya got that she won't tell easily that's why left her "Ok whatever it is, but you come down fast for morning prayers and breakfast".

"You go dear sissy I will come before breakfast" Neeli replied instantly.

Riyu went from there thinking if she is not in mood she will not come for prayers.

In BR

Sitara entered in Sameer's room after knocking on door with his black coffee in hand, where he was combing his hair in front of dressing table.

"Bhai your black coffee” She kept coffee mug on side table and Sameer just hummed without turning back …. “Bhai badi ma is calling you fast for morning prayers".

Sameer thought ma is calling me it means her temper came little down "Ok you go I am coming in 5 minutes” Sameer replied in cold tone.

After some times

In house temple Pooja finished prayers started giving holy sweets to everyone, but she stopped for some seconds when she came to Sameer.

"Sameer son me and your papa are going to rectify an issue will you accompany us?" Pooja asked seriously but Sameer’s face light up in happiness that finally his mother started talking to him, because he can bear anything but can’t bear if his mother do not talk to him.

"Sure, ma why not, but what was an issue?" Sameer asked with his big attractive smile which is exclusive for his family member’s only.

"Yesterday my darling son insulted one of his and his sister's in law's family member, we are going to apologies from them" Pooja replied calmly but Sameer’s light up face turned in to his regular frown listening her.

"Ma, please don't pop up this topic early in the morning, I am already in a bad mood" Sameer replied with fret.

"Sameer I am not forcing you for anything, if you don't want don't come with us, we will go by our self" Pooja said sternly.

"No need to go alone, I am coming with you and you don't need to apologies too, I will do that also" Sameer become helpless by this emotional blackmailing.

"Not needed now, we will do it, you just accompany us" Rakesh said angrily because of his son’s stubbornness and Sameer nod silently.

“Now come for breakfast” Rakesh ordered and everybody moved towards breakfast table.

"Why your mood is off early morning itself?" Ravi asked from Sameer in whisper because he noticed his bad mood.

"Don't ask Sunny, it's all because of you, why you didn't come for jogging today?" Sameer was irritated because of encounter with Neeli and all are oblivious from this.

Ravi's eyes become wide in shock listening Sameer "Sam are you become crazy or what? You are engaged and I am also not like that, please you should not miss me for silly things".

"Oh, shut up Sunny every time ridiculous jokes" Sameer smack his head.

"Then why you missed me so much while jogging that you become angry" Ravi asked making faces childishly.

"Because that miss modern doll met me again in joggers park and ate my head as much as she can like starving since birth, really dam irritating girl" Sameer replied thinking about the recent incident and once again his temper rose up.

"Sam, she irritates you and you didn't say anything?" Ravi asked in surprise.

"Sunny have you forgot? Yesterday only once I said that too by mistake and how weather of this house changed in to heated sunny, now I don't want any more problem so it’s better to avoid her" Sameer replied thinking about family.

"People are changing, strange" Ravi mumbles to himself.

"Sameer, Ravi what are you both whispering constantly, finish your breakfast fast, Sameer we have to go to Sahay Mansion also before office".

"Yes papa" Sameer replied obediently.

Another side SM

Sahay family was having breakfast silently when Shakti broke this silence.

"Neeli dear don't you think yesterday you over reacted? we are your parents not any enemy" Shakti tried to make Neeli realize her mistake politely.

"Yes, old man it was my fault and I want to apologies from all of you specially from mother India, sorry" Neeli said out of guilt and apologies by catching ears cutely.

"It's ok drama queen, let it be now, and don't repeat it again" Rohit said lovingly and smack her head.

"Don't worry she will never repeat it again because I promised her from everybody’s behalf that until and unless she is ready nobody will bring marriage topic again, got it everybody?" Grand ma said sternly and indirectly warned Mohini and Shakti.

"But ma" Mohini wants to say something but her father in law interrupt her.

"Mohini, Shakti your mother is right and I am with her, this is my last decision" Gran pa said in a strict warning tone and every one nods their head silently because now they don't have dare to protest against this decision.

Neeli become very happy by grand pa's words and hugged him immediately -"Thanks a lot grand pa".

Grand pa hugged her back "But you too be careful never repeat it again, you promised to your babe, right? Don't break it" Grand pa scold her in loving tone.

"OMG grand pa Neeli never break her promise truly” (pinch her throat cutely by moving head side by side) “well grand pa isi baat pe ek sher arz hai 'lakdi ki kaathi, kaathi pe ghoda (2), Neeli ne aaj tak kabhi apna vaada nahi toda' (well grand pa a poetry on this 'it's a wooden stable with so many horses, (2) but Neeli never breaks her promises)”.

All laughed loudly adoring her cute crazy antics which they were missing since long years.

"By the way Neeli, your studies are completed now what's your plan to do next?" Grand pa asked seriously.

"Grand pa I am thinking to join sandwich Bhai in Sahay industries" Neeli replied her future plan in serious tone but made others shocked.

Rohit who just took a bite suddenly coughed hearing her.

Shakti who took spoon full of yogurt towards his mouth, that spoon fell on floor from his hand with the sound of tannnn.

And all become shocked listening this except Grand pa.

Sheetal start rubbing Rohit's back and gave water to him, Riya bent to pick fallen spoon and Mohini was watching her without blinking eyes.

"What happened? why are you all glaring her like this? What's a big deal in it?" Grand pa knows their shocked reaction that’s why said to make it normal.

"But papa how can she join business she doesn’t know ABC of business" Shakti become tense by his daughter’s decision and knows how much stern she is.

"So what Shakti, when Rohit joined office first his knowledge was also nil but you taught him right? as like now Rohit will teach his little sister and don't forget she completed her MBA, that too university topper" Grand pa support her with praise and Neeli pulled her imaginary collar in proud listening praising words for her.

"Ok grand pa no problem she can join office and I know how talented she is, she will definitely learn very fast" Rohit is agreed from his Grandfather.

"Thank you so much bhai, Grand pa" Neeli become happy.

Just then servant came and informed about arrival of Bajaj family, all Sahay family members instantly moved towards living hall except Neeli, who was still having her breakfast peacefully.

Sahay welcome Bajaj family younger took blessings from elders and hugged each other after meeting formally they seated and after few formal talks Pooja asked about Neeli.

"Mohini ji where is Neeli, I heard she came back from London" Pooja asked looking here and there.

"Yes, just yesterday she came she was on dining table having breakfast, Riyu go and call Neeli".

On Riya's call as Neeli came in hall, Sameer saw such a beautiful magnificent charming face but he made faces seeing her clothing again it was a short western dress which he hates most, Neeli also look towards him ready in tuxedo like yesterday, handsome face attractive features, neatly combed hair but still something is missing was a happy shine from eyes and a humble softness from face.

Neeli came forward and Riya told her that they are Sameer and Sheetal's parents, Meera bend and took blessings from them by touching their feet (Indian ritual to give respect to elders) and said politely namaste uncle, namaste aunty.

Sameer saw everything with wide open mouth and mumbles "How this English Channel is showing regional programmed?" Truly he was not expecting this from her.

Pooja look towards him in triumphant way and mumbles slowly "Close your mouth otherwise fly will land in" As Pooja taunt Sameer closed his mouth instantly.

Rakesh and Pooja like her behavior a lot which is humble and sweet not like as Sameer was saying.

"Rakesh ji anything important the purpose of your visit?" After silent of few minutes Shakti asked.

"Nothing important Shakti ji, actually we came here to apologies from Neeli dear, yesterday Sameer was very rude and ill-mannered with her and he was wrong that’s why we came here to apologize from her" Rakesh said politely.

Neeli instantly interrupt him because she didn't like that being elders, they are apologizing to her "Please uncle, you don't need to apologies for anything, you are elders to me you can scold me but no need of apology".

"But Neeli dear it was Sameer's mistake..." Pooja tried to say something but interrupted by Neeli.

"Yes aunty, it was his mistake not yours and by the way I totally forgot about everything and in fact I took my revenge too in the morning" Neeli said while giggling.

All looked towards her in confusion and she continued "What happen Mr. Fastidious you didn't told them what happen in the morning in joggers park?" Neeli again came to her naughty avatar and started teasing him.

All are in amused state and Pooja and Rakesh are thinking this girl is really have dare because nobody talks to Sameer like this till now teasing is far away.

"Neeli you met bhai in the morning while jogging?" Sheetal asked in confusion.

Neeli moved her head up and down cutely.

"And that's why you were so happy since morning" Rohit asked.

"And that's why you were angry in morning?" Pooja asked from Sameer with raising eyebrow

"Neeli tell me clearly what you did?" Rohit asked sternly knowing her sister is so mischievous.

“Nothing big bhai just told him one poetry but he become angry" Neeli said in careless tone and shrug her shoulder.

"Ma, papa I am getting late for office, I am leaving" Sameer instantly stood up.

"But Sameer wait" Pooja said in confusion.

Neeli -" Mr. Bajaj isi baat pe ek sher arz hai... (Mr. Bajaj a poetry on this...)"

"Ok ma, if you want, I will wait for you" Sameer interrupts Neeli because he doesn’t want to let them come to know about her poetry what she told him in joggers park about him.

Sahay as well as Bajaj family members are in confusion thinking what is going on.

But before they could speak any further servants brought tea and snacks and Riya and Neeli started serving to every one

"So Neeli beta what are your plans for future" Rakesh asked casually.

"Uncle I am going to join Sahay industries with my Bhai" Neeli replied like happy little kid.

This time Sameer coughs hard and kept tea cup on table, Rohit rubbed his back and Sheetal gave him glass of water, Sameer mumbles -"Poor jiju and Sahay industries".

All chuckled listening him but Pooja and Rakesh show scolding eyes to him and he kept his mouth shut.

After sometime Bajaj went out of there and Neeli who was in an angry mood because of Sameer’s taunt talking to herself "This Fastidious i***t, what does he thinks of himself, one day I will show him what this Neeli is capable for".
