DESTINY'S TRICK

Chapter 4

"OMG finally I reached my home after this big blunder and my family members are coming towards me as like I am going to die, but on other side someone sure is going to die at the hands of his family members, let's peek inside his life first".

A big beautiful mansion

Bajaj Residence

"Welcome home bhai, everybody was waiting for you only, for your grand welcome" Sameer heard his loving handsome younger brother Ronak's loud voice as he entered in his home.

"Why a grand welcome? What happened now?" Sameer stares at him with cold look and raised his eyebrow in question and asked in a calm voice.

"Bhai you are talking like as you don't know anything" Ronak replied in same calm tone.

"Ronny stop beating around the bush, and come to the point” He sat on couch relaxing his head being tired of whole day asked in irritated tone, just then he noticed all family members gathered in living hall and starring him with sharp glare “What happened now? Why are you all gazing at me with so much love?"

“Because they all came to know about the fiasco you did today in mall with Sheetal's sister in law" Ravi his best friend equally handsome and dashing like him but lively and happening in his comparison, who coming downstairs thought to inform his best friend.

Sameer hit his forehead with his palm, smart man who was rouge a rude sometimes before become tense from family’s reaction of his latest deeds in anger, because he knows his family doesn't like his orthodox nature a bit.

"Yes, and jiji (Pooja) won't talk to you now" suman his masi ma informed him from his mother’s side.

Sameer stood up fast and went towards his mother, doesn’t matter how much big and ruthless businessman he is how grown well build up man he is but he is Mumma’s little boy from heart who can’t see his Mumma angry from him.

"Ma please, listen to me first, I collided with that girl unfortunately, she was rude in talking that made me angry and, you know what she was wearing a disgusting short dress" Sameer justify his action of fight, but Pooja didn't reply and looked towards Suman.

"So, what, it’s her choice whatever she wears, who are you to fight with all the girls who wear western clothes" Suman was not agreed from his justification and again replied from Pooja’s side.

Sameer look towards Pooja and replied to her only "But ma I was unknown from the fact that she is Sheetal's sister in law and I never thought that anyone can be like this from Sahay family and she talk to me rudely".

“You didn't talk to her rudely? And after knowing that she is Riya's sister and Sheetal's sister in law you continued fight or not?" But again, from Pooja's side Suman replied.

"Ma please talk to me directly" Sameer couldn’t take his mother’s silent anymore hold her shoulder and plead her lovingly like a small kid using all his charm as a cuteness.

"Ma don't forgive him easily ok" Before she replied anything Ravi his best friend interrupt them and provoking her in a naughty tone and went towards Ronak who was giggling on his situation doing proper sibling jobs.

"Sunny stop fueling in fire" Now Sameer’s charming cuteness turned in sulky, he said with frown.

"Suman tell him I don't want to talk to him" Pooja indirectly replied him angrily.

All were watching fight between mother and son in very calm state because it's a frequent problem of their house, whenever Sameer do something like this Pooja gets angry and Sameer can't bear her silent treatment.

"That girl was not any less she too kept fighting with me deliberately" Sameer tried to put blame on her.

"Sameer now you started saying lie to me?, Sheetal told me everything what happened over there, son Sahay family is our relative and we all know about them how good people they are and we all heard about Neeli, she is a nice girl, she just came back today that too from London that's obvious that she must have western choices".

Pooja who is very soft and tender by heart couldn’t control anymore broke her silence with calm words but his siblings Ravi, Ronak and Sitara hits their forehead as Pooja started talking to him.

"And whatever she wears that's none of our business after knowing she is Sheetal's sister in law and yours also soon to be sister in law, how can you be so rude with her?" Suman scolds him again.

"Ma, masi ma please you both know me very well, I really hate modern and western type of girls" Sameer again tried to justify his action of rudeness.

"Sameer you can't judge any one by their looks and you can't change the whole world, if you don't like some one's appearance then you can ignore them, but you don't need to fight with them" Rajesh his chote papa who speaks very less, found him wrong and tried to knock simples sense in him.

"Chote papa you are saying like I daily fight with someone, and regarding today she collides with me, I didn't do anything" He stubbornly struck to his words that she collide.

"Bhai how did she collide with you, what were you doing?" Ronak asked suddenly.

"I was speaking on my phone" Sameer replied casually.

"It means, both of yours mistake, right? You should not grab her hand and comment on her clothing" Ravi reality check him.

"What do you mean sunny" Sameer was slowly losing his patience seeing everyone are against him, he asked angrily.

"He means to say, when you both collide that matter has finished there itself and when you comment on her clothing and character that was very wrong and after knowing she is our relative, you continued your rude behavior" Suman is always straight forward gave second reality check to him.

"Means you all want to say I was rude; I did the mistake; it was all my fault?" Sameer becomes indignant.

"Yes, of course" All together replied.

"Not at all" Sameer was not ready to accept.

"Sameer you were wrong and you will have to apologize with Neeli and that's my order" Rakesh his father who have his command on whole house except Sameer’s anger said sternly.

“No ways apologies and me? Sameer Bajaj has never apologies to any one and I won't, that too from that Ch....” He saw everyone's glare, “Whatever" Sameer said indignantly and went towards his room.

Another side

Sahay Mansion

Everybody ran towards Neeli and started shooting their question like "Where you were till now?, where you went?, why you didn't pick any one of ours call?, why are you so pale?", But before she could answer she ran towards her room and everybody ran behind her.

They entered in room and saw Neeli is going towards washroom, Riya went behind her and saw her puking in washbasin she started rubbing her back, "Again in anger you made your health condition worst" Riya said calmly.

After sometimes Neeli stopped puking and washed her face Riya hand over her a towel, Neeli wiped her face and came out with Riya's support all pale.

"Neeli how many you had today?" Grand ma asked little angrily.

"117" Neeli replied with so much proud but all become shocked listening her answer except Sheetal who was standing there in confusion with the thought what is happening here.

"Rohit call the doctor" Shakti ordered.

Rohit was about to call but Grand ma interrupted "No need to call doctor, I will make kadha (home remedy with natural ingredients), after having it she will recover fast” Grand ma said calmly but Neeli made yuck face.

“And you have to drink it without any argument" Grand ma said sternly to Neeli while showing her index finger.

Neeli sense that her babe is very angry because she destroyed her health and it’s better to keep mouth shut.

"Riyu dear please go and do all arrangements for kadha, I am coming in 2 minutes" Grand ma requested Riya while glaring Neeli with anger filled eyes.

Riya nod and went, Sheetal too went with her, suddenly Neeli again ran towards washroom and Grand ma too went behind Neeli.

"Riyu, what happened to Meera? I am not getting anything, what was 117?" Sheetal asked in confusion who was unaware of Neeli’s habits.

Riya started laughing loudly without giving any answer, but Sheetal again asked her "Riyu why are you laughing tell me, I am not getting anything".

Riya controlled her laugh "Bhabhi, Neeli is real mad you won't understand her antics easily, whenever she gets angry, upset or sad she goes for shopping to calm herself and if it didn't work then she have PANI PURI to make herself happy, because she likes it so much but pani puri doesn't suits her health and cause of her indigestion, that's why she have to avoid it and Grand ma too restricted Pani puri for Neeli, but today she became too much angry and her shopping plan was even bitter and already ruined that's why she went to have pani puri, remember me and Grand ma were talking about where she can go, and see she had pani puri only, that too 117".

(PANI PURI is an India’s famous street food, it consists small balloon shaped hollow (puri) crispy fried filled with mash potatoes and tamarind water it's very sour in taste).

Sheetal palmed her mouth listening her, then after 1 minute started laughing and Riya too joined her.

"Riyu, Neeli have literally weird type of habits" Sheetal said between her laugh.

Riya suddenly becomes sad and thought about her sister 4 years before who was not like this at all.

While talking they reached kitchen but Sheetal noticed Riya's sudden sadness and asked "what happened?" She shook her head saying "Nothing" and started doing preparation for kadha, just then Grand ma came and silently started making kadha, after completing it Grand ma filled kadha in a glass.

"Grand ma give me, I will take this to Neeli" Riya offered help but Grand ma stopped her by showing hand.

"No Riyu I will take and please inform everybody that no one will come behind me and nobody will disturb us" Grand ma said sternly and went towards Neeli's room.

Another side

Baja Mansion

All sat around dining table for dinner, Pooja and Suman started serving just then Sameer came and sense that they all must be angry from him that's why he didn't talk to anybody and silently sat for dinner, but family members pretend that they didn't saw him and ladies were serving him food through Ravi, whatever he asked ladies gave to Ravi and he passed it to him, suddenly Sameer started coughing Pooja filled glass of water and gave it to Ravi and sign him to give it to him.

And now that was it for Sameer, he stood up angrily and went towards his room by mumbling "If nobody wants me to be here then its better, I should leave".

"Sam wait, what are you doing man?" Ravi tried to stop but he went from there.

Pooja shook her head seeing him going angrily, she immediately filled a plate will all dishes, kept plate in a tray with a glass of water and signaled Ravi to take it to Sameer. Ravi took the tray and went towards Sameer's room and Ronak too followed him.

In SM

Grand ma entered in Meera's room, Neeli saw her coming inside with kadha in hand and her deep-sea blue eyes came popped out from the socket seeing big glass of kadha.

"OMG babe such a big glass???" Neeli stretched her words in shock.

"How many pani puri you had today? Grand ma asked in taunting way and Neeli crouch her head down.

“Now silently have it" Grand ma sat beside her on bed and hand over her glass.

Neeli had it silently but sense her babe's mood is not good -"Babe I am sorry I know I did very big mistake, but you must know the reason behind it" She apologized by holding her ears cutely blinking her eyes like an innocent baby to pacify her babe.

"How many times I told you, nobody can make you marry to anybody without your wish, then how could you behave like this?" Grand ma said little angrily.

Neeli -"But babe, that mother India started talking about some guy that too that Fastidious i***t's brother, you know him that handsome in look dominating in behavior fiancé of our Riyu?"

Grand ma was not in mood to listen about any guy or any Fastidious i***t "So what? Tell me can anybody make you marry force fully?” Meera nod her head in no quietly getting her point

“Then? Neeli darling stop behaving impulsively you are most important for me and, I too promised you or not that I will be with you in your every decision” Meera nod and hugged her being relaxed, Grand ma caresses her back then slowly broke the hug.

“Now don't repeat it again" Grandma cups her cheek, kissed her forehead and then she was about to get up when Meera holds her hand to stop her and kept her head on her lap getting her heaven after so many days.

In BR

Ravi entered in Sameer's room with food plate in hand behind him Ronak too entered and both saw Sameer is sitting on couch and working on his laptop seeing Ravi entering with food plate he turned his gaze angrily like a small kids, both noticed this and came towards him with broad smile kept food plate on table and shut his laptop, right now with huff face and ruffled silky hairs he was not only looking like a small school boy but behaving like one only.

"Sam why this much anger that too from our family members?" Ravi confront him politely.

"I am angry or they are angry from me?" He even complain like a small boy angrily.

"Sam they are correct on their place, you should..." Ravi was trying to say something but interrupted by Sameer.

"Sunny I am not going to apologize to that girl" Sameer said with sulky face.

 Sameer is a most stubborn head in the family and everybody knows it "Ok don't apologize but have your food" Ravi said and forward food plate towards him.

Sameer took the plate silently and started having it "Ma sent you with food plate, right? (Ravi nod) despite of anger she never forgets me".

"Bhai she is not angry, but upset from your behavior and giving you silent treatment but don’t forget that was hurting her also, but today you were rude with family members, you should at least apologize to badi ma” Ronak said politely and tried to make him realize his mistake.

Sameer realized his point and nod in yes “That's like my best bro".

Sameer and Ravi smiled seeing their younger brother talking so sensibly, Sameer said with proud "Till few years ago my younger bro always use to take advise from me and now become so big that advising me".

"Till 4 years before I did lots of mistakes and you both corrected me and now, I don't want you to do any mistake because I know the feeling of guilt when you can't even rectify your mistake” Ronak said with sad face.

Sameer put hand on his shoulder Ronak smiles sadly, but Ravi stood up being sad and Sameer noticed this and he too stood up because he finished his dinner and went behind Ravi who was standing near bed folding his arms across his chest, Sameer and Ronak too came and stand behind him.

"Ronny you have at least hope that may be one day you can rectify your mistake, but few don't have that hope too" Ravi said sadly in guilt thinking about his mistake which can’t even rectify.

Sameer made him sit on bed and himself lay down keeping head on his lap to change his mood and Ronak sat beside them.

“Why are you again thinking like this? I am here always with you" Sameer said genuinely.

"You understand me very well since childhood" Ravi smiles for his genuine care. And Ronak adores their brothers proudly, whose friendship in beyond imagination.

In SR

Neeli kept head on Grand ma's lap "Babe you understand me very well, just like my guardian angel".

In BM

Sameer hold his hand "You too understand me very well, just like my elder brother".

Two different places, same conversation Meera was talking to her Grand Mother and Sameer was taking to his best friend c*m brother Ravi.

Grand Mother / Ravi -"But I don't understand one thing why do you hate boys / modern girls".

Neeli / Sameer -"As you don't know the reason?"

Grand Mother / Ravi – “I know, but what happens if one day you will fall in love with any boy / modern girl".

Neeli / Sameer -"Are you mad, it’s not going to happen any day sooner or later".

Grand Mother / Ravi -"Just imagine if it happens someday, then what?"

Neeli -"It's not going to happen because I am not a marriage material and I hate guys".

Sameer -"It's not going to happen because I am already engaged to a traditional Indian girl and am going to marry her and I hate modern types".

Grand Mother / Ravi -"But you never know, when destiny plays its trick, and make us helpless in front of everything".

Neeli /Sameer (in painful thought) -"Yes destiny's trick really makes us helpless but this time I won't let my life get effected in front of destiny's trick, I will write my own fate by myself with own hands and that's clear to me". Both said determinedly.
