Chapter 13

Mareena

"f**k" She screams.

"Maybell what's wrong with you"

"I've been called to Levi's family. And worse to bring the traitor alive"

"Me"

"Yes boss you"

"Where's everyone else"

"Sleeping like the dead"

"Then let's go after we shower and change" I said feeling guilty leaving.

I hurried up showered putting after care on. Washing my hair and body then got out. I hurried and dried off. A light knock at the bathroom door.

"Boss"

"Yes"

"You'll need this" She says handing me a suit.

"Thanks" I say taking it and closing the door.

I quickly got dressed. Pulled my hair up into a neat messy bun and put my glasses on. I looked like I truly could be a boss. I left the bathroom feeling some sort of confidence.

"Damn boss if I didn't know you were just a girl looking for better life"

"Let's go" I say.

"Right" Maybe says handing me a gun.

"Good girl" I say as we had for the door.

We get into the car.

"Ready"

"No but let's go"

We pulled out of the drive way and headed for Levi's family compound. The drive was quiet and I didn't really want to see his parents again. We finally pulled into Levi's family compound.

"Maybell"

"Pass"

We pulled through the gate. We parked and got out of the car. My heels clicking against the cement. The door opened and I felt nervous.

"Mareena darling girl" His mom says.

"Mrs.Blairemont"

"Oh sweetie call me Cas please"

"Yes Cas. Why am I here"

"You're taking over for your father now"

"Cas I don't want this life"

"Sammy is safe and our business wouldn't be the same as your dads. He wasn't ready for this. I wouldn't except anything less then from you. To me I would rather have you as a child then Levi"

"Cas if I am willing to accept this deal we are to do things on my terms not yours"

"Ok. I've always seen you and Sammy as mine anyways. You know the women run this part not the men"

"So what are you entailing for me"

"Partners"

"50/50"

"Deal. Mareena dear next time get a cell phone. Going through her isn't something I like"

"Buy me one then Cas"

"Smart ass" she chuckles

"That's a yes"

"Next time I'll have one waiting. No tracking installed. I trust you"

"Thank you. Anything else"

"No go enjoy your day. Oh and the ink suits you" She says turning around and leaving.

We walked back to the car and Maybell checked it first for trackers. She nodded giving the all clear. Cas really did trust me. We got into the car and I let out a deep exhale.

"Ready boss"

"Let's go home"

The drive home was silent again. We pulled into the drive way and Sammy was outside crying.

I got out of the car and ran to him. I picked him up.

"Mare I thought you left me"

"Never" I wish kissing his cheeks.

I finally out him down.

"Wanna eat"

"Starving"

We walked into the house. Everyone was up and worried.

"Where the f**k were you" Asher asked pissed off.

"Asher now is not the time or place to this conversation"

"Listen"

"Shut it down now Asher" Maybell says stepping in front of me.

"Maybell move"

"Asher I can't. You need to stand down"

"This is bullshit" He says storming off.

His door slammed shut. Maybell waited a little before standing down.

"Where were you" Hallie asked.

"Cas called" I said leaning against the wall.

"Doll tell me you didn't"

"Cas has always had a soft spot for me"

"You made a deal"

"50/50"

"And what do you have to do"

"Make deals with businesses, and ect"

"Doll"

"She already said we're safe"

"Please be careful"She says making a face.

"Use my room" Maybell says.

"Thanks" I say walking to her room.

It's strange to see the difference between the two. Right now Asher is acting like a child. I escaped from our father with Sammy. I am now a boss. Could all of this just be my life now? How did this happen? I heard Asher's door open and him walking quickly down the hallway. The front door opened and then it slammed shut. His bike pulled out of the drive way. I could tell he was pissed I left. I had a meeting and he said he didn't want to be part of that life. I might have made a mistake marking him as mine. A mistake that could cost him his life. I now run this town and he would have to fall in line or else. I quickly changed and took out my hair. I left her room and everyone looked at me.

"What's going on" I asked concerned.

"Asher didn't take his phone or keys with him" Maybell says.

"Has he done this before"

"No"

"Did he have any weapons"

" I don't know boss. He passed by all of us quickly"

"Let him be" I say walking over to the couch.

I sat down and turned the TV on.

"Boss shouldn't we" Hattie asked.

"No he's pissed and if he has a weapon it won't go well just let him be"

"Ok"

They came and sat down. I don't know what we were watching. Hours had gone by and eventually we made our way outside. Smoking started up again. Everyone was enjoying their time together at least till Asher finally came home. The front was slammed shut.

"He's home"

"Sounds like it" I said taking a hit.

He didn't come outside. We all went about our business. Till we all were getting hungry. We went in and to our dismay we could hear faint moans from Asher's room. Horrified Maybell drew a gun.

"Stay behind me boss"

I followed her down the hallway and she swung the door open. There they were both naked. I was seeing red.

"Asher you've been marked you i***t" Maybell says pointing the gun at the girl.

She peeked around Asher shyly.

"Why should I care. It's not like anything is going to happen to me anyways" He says getting up slowly and grabbing a sheet.

"Drag him outside now" I ordered Xander.

Xander knew what was happening and didn't argue. He grabbed Asher by the arm tightly. Walked past us and took Asher outside.

"Maybell the trap door and you know what to do" I say turning around to meet them outside.

I heard the girl screaming and all I could think about was punishing him. I was seeing red and knew I couldn't be disrespected like that. He bore my mark. My f*****g mark and made me look like an i***t. Asher had no idea the furry I was about unleash on him.

"Take Sammy for some food and don't come back untill you get a text from Maybell" I said to Hallie and Hattie.

They nodded and took off with Sammy. She came outside and nodded. It was done.

"Are you stupid Asher" I asked.

I watched him squirm against the ropes. I smiled because well let's face it I'm f*****g crazy.

"You won't hurt me little bird"

I started laughing and no one stopped me. I waved to my mom to bring me some tools and she did.

"Call them then go join them"

She nodded and about two minutes later she was gone. All that was left was just the three of us. Maybell, Xander and I. We all watched as Asher squirmed to get free.

"Lighter please" I said as Maybell handed me one.

I lite a scalpel till it was hot enough. Then I plunged it down into his right thigh. He gasps as the look of shock took over his face. I pulled the scalpel out and started laughing again. Would he admitt his mistake or would I have to keep going?.
