As I lie helpless on the cold, dark ground, the Dark Alpha's menacing gaze pierces through me. I can feel his hot breath on my face, and his growls vibrate through my entire body. I know I'm in grave danger.
"Why did you betray me, Lucia?" I growl, trying to sound braver than I feel.
Lucia's smile is cold and calculated. "You were just a pawn in my game, Scott. And now, you're a prisoner of the Dark Alpha."
The Dark Alpha's eyes gleam with excitement. "Yes, Scott. You'll make a fine addition to my pack. And soon, your father's pack will be mine too."
I struggle against my restraints, but they're too strong. I'm trapped. And I know my only hope is to find a way to escape before it's too late.
