Antonne and Kit carried on their conversation for the remainder of the class period while revising their essays. They were both very comfortable with each other as they joked around and offered advice on their essays. Pretty soon, the bell rang signaling the end of fourth period and the beginning of lunch. Kit gathered her things up quickly, she was hoping to catch Mr. Buckner, the PE teacher, before the chaos of lunch ensued.
“Hey, lunch?” Lina asked with a quizzical look on her face as she came over to Kit. She assumed Kit would want to join her and meet some of the other werewolves. Antonne had made his way over to Henrique and the other guys. Kit was already heading for the door.
“I’ll catch up with you.” She called back over her shoulder. She passed Henrique and Antonne’s table a
