They were back in the states and the excitement and anxiety Kit felt were building as they made their way north towards North Carolina. Kit fell asleep and when she woke up, they were parked at a gas station and Skye was pumping gas in a new vehicle. Kit yawned and stretched before stepping out of the car and Skye smiled over at her.
“Bathroom break?” Kit asked as she stifled another yawn. Skye nodded and gestured with her head to the restrooms on the side of the building.
“Be quick, we need to get going.” She stated as Kit made her way over to the restroom. Kit nodded her head as she disappeared into the bathroom. Skye finished pumping the gas and stood waiting by the car for Kit. Kit strolled out with a smile on her face as she rolled her sleeves down. Skye smiled at Kit with a quest
