LEAVING THE DARK ROOM

CHAPTER ONE

"leave me alone you monster,please have mercy on me don't do this to me." I pleaded.

"But I want you, stay still it won't hurt if you stay still." he snarled.

"Please,please no it hurts no." I screamed.

CYNTHIA'S P.O.V.

I woke up from the same nightmare that has plagued my nights each time it rain's and the weather is left cold. I got up from my bed and headed for the shower to wash the sweat off me,after that i took a seat facing my gigantic window because i couldn't go back to sleep I thought to myself for a twenty-five year old successful woman i know am supposed to be over this but how could i ever forget the night my life changed forever.

watching the night sky and the busy streets of London I couldn't help but find myself drifting down my most horrible memory on my nineteenth birthday.

"Baby, Cynthia you need to stay away from that boy he is a no good that's just trying to sniff through your skirt" my mom screamed at me.

"No mom he love's me and I know I love him too why can't you understand that and by the way is name his Drake and I won't leave him not even for you." I shouted and ran up to my room grabbing my purse and my phone I stormed out of my home leaving my mom yelling out my name.

After my huge fight with my mom i knew I couldn't go back home so left for my best friend's home at least I knew Paige wouldn't critisize me about my relationship with Drake. I arrived at Paige's home a few minutes later and i met her mom leaving the house.

"Good morning Mrs Sullivan how are you?" I greeted her.

"Good morning thia, am fine how are you and how's your mom?"

"She's fine, so am i. is Paige upstairs."

"No, she's in the kitchen tell her i left okay see you guys later." she said closing the door behind her. I went into the kitchen to fine Paige at the sink doing the dishes.

"Hey,bestie good morning your mom said to tell you she left."I said taking a seat at the counter.

"Good morning and happy birthday to you why are you here so early? I was gonna call you after i was done doing the dishes but you're here anyway but I thought you were gonna celebrate with your mom this morning and later with the gang."she said while hugging me.

"Wow! i totally forgot it was my birthday today I had a fight with my mom over Drake, but have you got any breakfast left i didn't have any before I left my home i am so famished." I growled heading for the fridge.

"So you're telling me that you fought with your mom because of Drake. Thia that isn't fair to her, you know you're all she has after you lost your dad and besides i don't trust him there's no way he could have changed from a play boy to a one woman's man."she retorted.

"I can believe you of all people is saying this to me you know i love him so much he's everything to me, you know what forget about it am just gonna go call me when you ready to support me like a friend and not mothering me bye." I replyed while heading for the door.

"Don't forget about the party tonight, you know what I'll call you or text you the address bye." she yelled back at me while I was closing the door.

I am just gonna celebrate with Drake and join the gang later tonight, I hailed a taxi and left for Drake's home.
